As a book fan, I'm honestly not satisfied with the movie

As a Chinese version of the book fans who have read both books several times are really powerless to complain about the movie. First of all, I don’t know if it is for theatrical conflict or for somehow to insert an inexplicable love scene or a terrible animal protection vegetarian mother. You have a love scene and it’s nothing. Bob’s name is obviously taken by James himself based on the game he likes to play. At the beginning, when Bob was injured, various treatments and medications were also used by James himself to directly become a girl in the movie and name the cat to treat the wound. It's also the girl who feels like she is watching the split personality. There is a female friend who is important to James in the original book. The pure friendship supports and helps James from the beginning to the end. The film also directly cuts out James. The relationship with Bob is getting shrunk and the details behind me are shrunk and messed up. I don’t understand that the rebirth of this kind of expression must be accompanied by love as a booster. James is only responsible for Bob’s family.
