At the end, when the wife is unwilling to go back with her husband, she unconsciously thinks that if she reverses suddenly, the wife will fall into mental confusion just because she knows that her husband is the murderer and has left feelings for him. It seems to be more tortuous and more complicated. Can make people feel surprised and amazed. But Hitchcock did not do this, perhaps because he has always retained a continuation of a rewarding ending, or perhaps it originated from a true story, and this ending was given out of respect for the story itself. A simple story, without so many intrigues, is different from those high-scoring films that explore the evil name and show deep reflections on human nature. It conveys a kind and gentle value, rather than just criticizing human beings for lacking such a value. It is what is lacking in today's era. Communication is the power of the film.
