On the occasion of the Rio Olympics, the release of this Brazilian football king Pele’s movie is indeed a solar term. The whole movie does not deliberately portray how the football king develops extraordinary skills, but focuses on the family growth atmosphere and the psychological changes after entering the Santos team, and finally represented the national team in the 1958 World Cup. The film does not inherit the inspirational line taken by American sports movies. On the contrary, it is more tender (inspiring words seem to be impossible for future generations to copy the success of the king of the ball), and it really describes the big people as small people. Although there is no over-exaggerated big scene, who cares?
