Christians, when you are suffering from something very painful, will you lose faith in God, will you be thinking: God, where are you? This movie revolves around such a question and gives us a good answer.
When the little girl Anna was diagnosed with digestive disorders, her mother was almost in a state of collapse. When she told the pastor and believers of the church about his daughter's illness, a believer suggested that her daughter might have done something wrong. She was very angry. She had lost her confidence and stopped going to church because of her doubts about this believer. Once pious and loving God, she lost her way of life because of her daughter's illness. After seeking medical treatment in the local area to no avail, she flew to Boston with her daughter to seek medical treatment. After several twists and turns, he returned to no avail. One day after she went home, she fell from the tree. When she recovered, her illness began to get better and finally healed.
Before Anna miraculously got better, are all the things she and her family suffered meaninglessly? In my opinion, it is not. At the end of the film, there is a montage shot showing the help that others have given to her family while she is struggling with her daughter's illness. When she and her husband took their daughter to the hospital, the neighbors helped take care of her two other daughters late at night; when she and her daughter arrived in Boston, a kind restaurant waiter served as their guide for free to take them around Boston; Boston Children’s Hospital To help her daughter, the front desk took the risk of being resigned and violated hospital regulations and asked the doctor to see her child without an appointment... This help from others is a gift and a blessings from God. Although she has gone through a very painful process, at the same time she also gained help from others. It is precise because of such tribulations that the Annas will have stronger faith in God.
God does not always help us when we are in pain but makes us wait. In this process of waiting, although there will be pain and suffering, we also continue to learn and grow gradually in this process. I am very grateful to God. I am grateful to him for allowing me to grow up so peacefully and healthily, and for allowing my family to be so healthy. I thank him for not making me suffer as painful as the family in the film, but he can still feel his love and good intentions. This movie taught me what is patience and what is tempering to make people grow. When a dilemma comes, we do not need to rush to find the answer, nor should we lose faith in God. We should wait patiently because God has his truth in everything he does.

Miracles from Heaven quotes

  • Doctor: Other than the possibility of a slight concussion, your daughter has no broken bones, complete movement of all her limbs. There's no internal bleeding, no indication of bruising. In fact, after hitting the ground skull first with dirt packed to the top of her head, she regained consciousness, woke up with a smile on her face. Oh, my God. Quite frankly, I've been a doctor for 25 years. Never seen anything like it.

  • Anna Beam: [about her near-death experience] It's all right, Mom. Not everyone's gonna believe. And that's okay. They'll get there when they get there.
