film "Walking in the Clouds" is adapted from the novelist Bill Brad’s Walking Travels of the same name. It is a true story. It is played by Robert Redford as a real writer. I don’t know if the age is the same, but I like the old actor Redford’s very much. The performance, nearly 80 years old, still has the tenacious vigor of life. I have watched his "All Is Lost" before. At such an age, he has performed many difficult scenes of fighting against nature, which is admirable. In this film, we walk with another veteran actor, Nick Knott. They want to re-understand the United States by hiking the 2,100-mile Appalachian Trail. At such an old age, it makes people sweat. Two old friends who have not seen each other for many years have not seen each other for many years due to some small frictions. Unexpectedly, one day, he contacted and started this walking tour together. A series of things happened during the trip. They fell in the water and met Black bear, falling down the slope and so on. On the way, they talked long, humorous, lively, expressive, honest, and began to recognize themselves again, strengthened themselves, quit bad habits, and the flowers of friendship bloomed. The film has wonderful scenery, a pleasant soundtrack, and two natural, funny and playful old dramas, which make the film relaxed and comfortable, allowing the audience to face this complex and changeable, boring and tedious life. Light and bright, like a glass of cold and refreshing beer on a summer night.
