Make up for last year's best movies. Phoenix, a sophisticated film from the German academic school. The hostess was disfigured in the concentration camp. After undergoing cosmetic surgery, she went to find her husband who had betrayed her. But her husband didn’t recognize her. He only thought that she resembled the missing wife, so he proposed to let her pretend to be his wife and perform the drama of returning in front of the crowd, thereby defrauding his wife’s inheritance... The most interesting in this film is the heroine. The image of, is contrary to the image of the revengeful Jews. Although she has been betrayed, she still loves her husband and their past deeply. The experience and disfigurement of the concentration camp are the process of being "cleared" in the real world, and even in the symbolic world, ironically However, her return in the real world is unknown, but in the symbolic world, she can only rely on those who have betrayed her or pretended that the pain did not exist.
