1. Interior view, showroom,

Tomek jumped down from a high window, and after tiptoeing around no one, he walked inward along the corridor illuminated by the dim light. He entered a showroom, took out a flashlight, and started searching for something. The flashlight illuminates all kinds of instruments. Finally he found it-it was a high-powered telescope, he covered it with his clothes, and then ran away.

Tomek adjusts his focus on the table in front of the window during the day . The telescope was facing a high-rise building on the opposite side, and the lens was gradually aimed at a window. Tomek smiled with satisfaction.

Magda walked in hurriedly, and Tomek behind the counter noticed her. At the same time, he said to the old woman at the counter: "Your ID number." The
old woman: I can't hear you.
Magda waited impatiently with a receipt. Tomek's gaze followed her. It was her turn.
Magda: Withdraw money.
Tomek took the receipt and checked it. At the same time, he looked at her while Magda was not paying attention.
Tomek: No.
Magda: But I got the notice!
Tomek: I don't have one here. (He pushes the box over) You can check it yourself.
Magda flipped through the documents. Tomek stared at her intently. Not really.
Magda (returning receipt box): When should I come?

Magda turned away angrily, and Tomek stopped her.

There was a loud alarm bell ringing in the room, and Tomek ran back to the room, turned off the bell, and sat at the table with some excitement. He removed a piece of red flannel covering the telescope, and his eyes were close to the eyepieces. (Music starts) Tomek’s point of view: On the opposite floor, Magda had just entered the house. She turned on the light and walked to the table next to the window. She checked the stack of mail in her hand and took off her shoes and put them there. on the table. Later she appeared in another window, using her hand as a viewfinder to examine an unfinished oil painting on the easel. She took a dark blue silk ribbon and decorated it on the painting, then walked away to observe the effect. At the other end, Tomek watched all this. In the opposite window, Magda took off her windbreaker and stretched her tired body dancely. She watched her oil painting while taking off her silk shirt and skirt, and disappeared in the depths of the room wearing only a short petticoat. Here, after confirming that she won't show up for the time being, Tomek smiled drunkenly, leaned on the back of the chair and rubbed his tired eyes with his hands.
Tomek's door opened, and the living room was filled with TV music. He walked out silently and took an enamel cup to the bathroom to fetch water. The old man looked back at him caringly and without worry, and then turned back silently. In Tomek’s room, he boiled the tea in the cup with a water heater, scooped two spoons of jam, and looked into the telescope at the same time. On the opposite side, the old wooden clock on the wall stopped at 2:20, yet no one appeared. Tomek buttered a slice of bread and looked across again. Tomek's point of view: Magda appeared, (from the music) she was wearing a blue short bathrobe and was wiping her long hair with a towel. She walked across the room, took a bottle of milk from the refrigerator in the kitchen, and then disappeared between the two windows. After a while, Magda’s hands could be seen by the kitchen window. She was hanging a pendant-like object in one hand, shaking it on the other. She flicked the pendant away and took a bite of what was in her hand. Butter bread, picked up the milk bottle on the table and walked away.
Tomek chewed on the bread and stared at everything about her.
Magda appeared in front of the window where the oil paintings were displayed. She squatted down, eating bread while painting with a palette knife on the canvas. (Music stops)
Tomek looked at her, touched the phone by the table with one hand, and dialed a number. A bell ringing can be heard in the receiver.
Magda got up and walked to the bedroom window, sat on the bed and picked up the phone.
Magda: Hello? ……Hey?
Tomek stared at her in the eyepieces, nervously silent.
Magda: Hello? ... (angrily) This kind of game of pretending to be deaf and dumb is enough!
Tomek remained silent.
Magda: I can hear your gasping, sneaky... (she hangs up)
Tomek groaned for a moment, then dialed the phone again.
Magda (annoyed): Hello?
Tomek (hesitating slightly, low ground): I'm sorry. (Hanging up the earphones)
Magda looked at the earphone in confusion, then put it back. At this time, it seemed that there was a voice behind her. She almost jumped up happily, hurriedly took off the bedspread, smoothed the sheets, and ran towards the door in a dance. The door opened, first with a hand carrying a briefcase, and then we saw a tall, rather elegant man. Magda immediately threw himself into his arms, lifted off his suit, and kissed him. He also hugged Magda tightly and put his hands in her thin underwear.
Tomek raised his binoculars and stopped looking.

Magda: I didn't get the milk again. This is the second time.
Waiter (deceptively): Do you want to be a milk deliverer?
Magda (said while walking away): I don't have time...
Waiter (adding a sentence to her back): Our milkman has no time either!
Tomek watched Magda away thoughtfully.
6. Interior view, Tomek’s bedroom. During the day,
Tomek came into the room. The old man was behind him with a letter. She read the letter: "...Greetings to Tomek and said to him:'N·P· A·O·S. What do you mean?
Tomek: A kind of code.
Old man (happy and emotional): He will see the whole world. ...It's a pity you can't be with him.
Tomek (sitting at the table): I don't feel sorry.
The old man (walks behind him, bows his head and kisses him on the cheek): It's Mahesin.
Tomek gently shook the old man's hand, and kissed him affectionately and respectfully.
The old man (looking at him lovingly): What will you do when Mahersin comes back?
Tomek just smiled faintly.
Old man: I want to see your life settle down. Mahersin loves travelling too much. I'm afraid he won't live long. Maybe you can continue to live here...
Tomek smiled childishly. (Starting with music, access to the next scene)
7. Interior view, Tomek’s bedroom, night
Tomek’s point of view: Looking out the window, Magda is standing in front of the window, talking with a man with a big beard and wearing glasses What's going on. The man was looking at the drawings and commenting, Magda seemed to be arguing. She walked to her unfinished oil painting and gestured, seeming to explain to the man with some annoyance. But the man stretched out his hands, picked up Magda's long hair, and "pinned" it on the painting. He looked at Magda, and the painting became a substrate.
Tomek stared at the scene intently from the window.
Magda smiled happily, she reached out a hand and stroked the man's sideburns. The man didn't let go of his hands, and lowered his head to kiss her at the same time. Magda reached into the man's leather jacket, and reached one leg between the man's legs.
Tomek turned his head, he couldn't stand it anymore. After a while, he took a thick notebook from behind, looked through it, and found what he was looking for. He dialed a phone number.
Other party: Gas station.
Tomek: I want to report a gas leak...

Tomek: Gas stove.

Tomek nodded, hung up the phone, and lit a cigarette. Then he went to the bathroom to get a glass of water. Mahsin's mother came over.

Downstairs, a repair car from the gas station approached.
Tomek raised the camera and aimed it at Magda's bedroom. It can be seen that Magda leaned over the man on the bed, kissed him, and then kissed his naked chest. Tomek smiled triumphantly, searching the corridor with his binoculars. He found it. Two repairmen were identifying the house number. After confirming, they rang the doorbell. The camera turned to the bedroom. The man was startled. He raised his head, but Magda put his head flat and continued to kiss him. In the corridor, the impatient workers took turns violently rang the electric bell. Finally, the inexplicable Magda got up. She pulled up her clothes, straightened her hair and walked to the door. The man hurriedly put on his glasses and shirt. The repairman walked in regardless of Magda's protest, and they checked the gas stove-of course, no problem. Then he stepped out amidst Magda's angry accusations. Tomek watched this scene with a smile. An angry Magda tidied the stove, and the man tried to hug her from behind to comfort her, but Magda threw him away. Tomek's eyes left the eyepieces, and he laughed. Suddenly, he punched the wall panel beside the table, and the wall panel cracked.

Tomic carrying a shopping basket walked to the attendant on duty.
Tomek: I think you are looking for a milkman.
Duty Officer: How old are you?
Tomek: 19 years old.
Duty Officer: Is it a student?
Tomek: No, I work at the post office.
Duty Officer: You have to get up at 5 o'clock every day...
Tomek (with a smile): I always get up early.
9. Interior view, Tomek’s bedroom,
loud alarm clock in the morning . Tomek awakened from his deep sleep. He sat up, holding the alarm clock, and couldn't fully wake up for a long time.
10. Location, street, early in the morning
Tomek dragged the heavy milk cart down the stairs, and the baby bottles clinked and collided.

. Tomek comes with milk in the morning . He first collected the empty bottle outside Magda's door, and then rang the doorbell.
Magda (drowsyly): Who?
Tomek: Milk.
Magda opened the door, her eyes sleepy and she was wearing her nightdress.
Tomek (staring at her blankly, after a moment): You forgot to put the bottle.
Magda glanced at the empty door, turned around and fetched an empty bottle, placed it by the door, and closed it.
Tomek stood outside the closed door for a while before putting down the milk. Not only did he not take the second empty bottle, but instead put the first one there.
12. interior, Tomek bedroom, night
late at night. Tomek sat at the table, observing Magda's room intently through the binoculars. The camera flicked across rooms, with dim lights shining, but there was no one. Tomek yawned wearily and covered the binoculars with a red flannel—he couldn't wait for Magda tonight. He turned off the lamp and fell on the bed.
Just when he was about to fall asleep dimly, he was awakened by a harsh brake downstairs. He rolled over and got out of bed and walked to the window. In the car with the lights on, Magda was arguing with a strange man, and she waved her hands angrily. Then she pushed the door and jumped out of the car, and the man followed: "She's crazy..." Magda turned around, smashed the roof of the car with her fists, and ran away quickly. The man started the car and drove away.
Tomek aimed the camera at Magda's window. Tomek's point of view: Magda opened the door and fell exhaustedly on the refrigerator next to the door, struggling to throw off her shoes, as if she had to rely on the refrigerator to support herself and not collapse. She opened the refrigerator with great energy and took out half a bottle of milk and put it on the table. When she reached out to remove the messy hair in front of her, her arm knocked over the bottle and the milk soaked the table. Magda looked at it helplessly, and fell into a chair with her back to the window. She lifted her long hair again, and her shoulders began to tremble slightly. She finally grabbed her long hair with both hands and twitched violently.
Tomek watched bewildered.
Inside the window, Magda's back crying alone is so sad.
Tomek watched nervously and painfully. Outside the painting, the voice of the old man: Tomek! Tomek?
13. Interior view, the old man's bedroom, Ye
Tomek walked into the old man's bedroom.
Old man: You didn't sleep? (Tomek stands silently at the door) Come in and sit here. (The old man pats the bed. Tomek sits beside her) What happened? (Tomek shook his head silently)
Tomek (suddenly in a low voice): Why do people cry?
Old man: Don't you know? Haven't you cried?
Tomek (whispering): I have cried. A long time ago...
Old man:...When they left you. (The old man ponders.) People cry for various reasons. When people die, when they are left alone, they are injured,...when people can no longer keep them.
Tomek (stubbornly): What do you keep?
The old man (smiles through the vicissitudes of life): Life.
Tomek (looking at the old man expectantly): Can you do something about this?
The old man (sorrowful smile): One time Mahsingh had a toothache. (Tomek smiles strongly) He heated up the soldering iron and burned it here (she raised his hand to touch her upper arm). He just forgot about the toothache.
14. Interior view, Tomek’s bedroom, night
Tomek was sitting at the table, spreading out the red flannel with both hands, spreading five fingers on the flannel, picking up a pair of scissors in his right hand, and quickly inserting it between his fingers. As the frequency increased, he closed his eyes. The frequency is faster. Finally, he was shaking with pain and opened his eyes. A drop of blood oozes from a finger. Tomek put his fingers in his mouth and sucked up the blood.
On the other side, Magda leaned on the table like a crying tired child, with one hand in the overflowing milk, paddling and wiping.
15. Location, street,
Tomekra crosses the street with a milk cart in the early morning . At the entrance of Magda's building, he passed by a sportsman pushing a car. He carried the milk carton into the building door. He came to Magda's mailbox and stuffed a small folded piece of paper into it.
16. Interior view, post office,
Magda walked in quickly during the day . Tomek greeted her with a smile prepared.
Magda (handing the note with a smile): It was you last time. I received a new notice.
Tomek (takes the note and pretends to look it up): No.
Magda (compressed on fire): This is the second time.
Tomek: There is nothing I can do.
Magda: Can you call your boss?
Tomek: Boss?
Magda: It's the manager.
Tomek was a little nervous. He hesitated, got up and walked back. A fat woman with glasses followed Tomek.
Manager: What's the matter?
Magda (hands over the note): I have received remittance notices twice, but you don't have one here.
Manager: Who will send you money?
Magda: I don't know.
Manager: Then how do you know that you are rich?
Magda: You notified me!
The manager yelled, and Magda was almost slapped with a whip. Tomek always watched this unexpected scene painfully. An old postman appeared in response.
Manager (hands the note to him): What is this?
Postman: Notice.
Manager: It's yours.
Postman: I didn't write it.
Manager (interrupting Magda who was about to speak): Not ours.
Magda (unbearable): But there are stamps on it!
Manager (coldly): Go to the police!
Magda (furiously): Good idea, (she holds out her hand) Can I get the slip back?
Manager (bringing the sliver arrogantly to pieces): Of course not! (Tomek is trembling almost) This is a fake, (she adds when Magda rushes to the door furiously) Try to lie to us!
Magda held back tears and walked out.
17. Location, on the street, during the day
Tomek ran out to chase Magda, he was running. Magda was almost trotting too. Tomek finally came to her. He walked quickly aside, watching her.
Magda (turning to him, angrily): What do you want? (
Walks quickly again) Tomek (following her): There is no notice.
Magda (keep walking): Isn't it?
Tomek: I sent the notice.
Magda (stopped): Why did you do that?
Tomek: I want to see you.
Magda (shrugs incredible, dismissively): Do you want to see me? (Go away quickly)
Tomek shrank like a child being beaten~ Next, he stopped, lowered his head, dragged his feet and was about to turn around and walked away, suddenly turned around, facing the distance he was walking away. Magda yelled, "You cried yesterday!"
Magda stopped, turned around to stare at him suspiciously, and walked straight towards him.
Tomek looked at her nervously and expectantly.
Magda (walking up to him): How do you know?
Tomek (looking at her directly, finally lowering his eyes, howling): I'm watching you.
Magda stared at him incredulously.
Tomek (adds embarrassingly): I watch you through the window.
Magda (finally understands, bursting out): Get out!
Tomek still stood there shrinking.
Magda (raising her hand furiously and giving him a hand): Fuck you!
Tomek staggered back a few steps, still watching Magda with expectant and pleading eyes. Finally, he sighed silently, and then turned around in despair, (music plays) He slowly put his hands in the pockets of his overalls, and dragged his feet slowly and walked away slowly. He wiped the wall like a child who was treated unfairly.
Magda looked at his back with tears in her eyes, she shook her head incomprehensibly, as if she was about to wake up from an absurd dream. She turned her head and cast her gaze to the street asking for help, staring again at the back of Tomek who seemed to be about to fall. She raised her hand as if to call him back, but withdrew it as soon as she stretched it out. She shook her head speechlessly again.
Tomek staggered away.
18. Interior view, Tomek's bedroom, night
(music continuation) Tomek is sitting at the table and reading a book. Alert rings. Tomek turned it off, slowly stretched out his hand to remove the red flannel on the telescope, and seemed to be sitting at the table with some difficulty. He stared at the night building on the opposite side. The lights in Magda's room turned on. Tomek's eyes hesitated towards the eyepiece.
Tomek's point of view: Magda appeared in the window, her face tired and old. She suddenly leaned over the window and looked out, as if to confirm Tomek's position.
Tomek drew back instinctively, leaving his eyepieces, as if to escape Magda's stare. On the lighted window of Magda in the opposite building, she was just a small, fuzzy figure. Realizing the true distance, he put his eyes close to the eyepieces again.
Magda leaned on the window in vain, facing an indistinguishable window on the opposite side. She left the window, took off her windbreaker, and suddenly walked to the window like a performance, facing the window. She walked to the old-fashioned wall clock, opened the small door, took out the key, turned around and shook it outside the window, as if to pass an unsolvable signal. Then she appeared in the bedroom again, dragging the large bed from under the window to the window. Make it face the window like a stage. Magda picked up the phone, took off the receiver, and shook it out of the window to signal Tomek. Then she sat on the bed holding the phone, the phone was on her half-naked lap, and she waited.
Tomek picked up the headset as if hypnotized, dialed the familiar number, and brought his eyes closer to the eyepiece at the same time.
After the bell rang several times, Magda picked up the microphone: Hello?
Tomek watched silently.
Magda: Hello? ...I will count to three. One...two...
Tomek (in a low voice): Hello.
Magda (seemingly gleefully): Are you watching?
Tomek (hesitating for a moment): Yes.
Magda: Did you see me moving the bed for you?
Tomek (whispering): I see it.
Magda: Happy in advance! (Putting down the phone, twisting her body exaggeratedly and placing the phone on the window sill)
Magda took off the bed cover, suddenly hearing something, she looked in Tomek's direction, and ran to open the door. She dragged the bearded man in and ran in with a smile, dragged him to the bed, and almost immediately took off his jacket and shirt, and stopped his doubts with a kiss, but when she kissed him, her eyes turned towards Tomek's direction. Magda dragged the man to the bed, and the man turned off the light, but she jumped up and turned on the light. The two fell on the bed with Magda's bare leg wrapped around the man's back.
Tomek hesitated to look away, but he understood: this was a "performance" directed at him.
The man was suddenly taken aback. He stood up. At this moment, Magda leaned forward. She pointed out the window and laughed and said something, as if this was a very happy game. The man awkwardly covered his body with the sheet, arched his waist and fled from the window. Magda laughed happily, and threw his clothes one by one. Suddenly, she stopped smiling, and tired and old lines appeared on her face. She walked to the window thoughtfully and looked down. We saw the man appear in the side street downstairs. He crossed the lawn and walked downstairs to Tomek.
Tomek's telescope also followed him.
Man (yelling angrily): Hi! damn it!
Tomek watched him.
Man: Come here!
Tomek stood up slowly but firmly, the seat creaking.
Man (outside the picture): Hurry up! You son of a bitch!
Tomek walked out the door.
Man: Hurry up!
The old man was startled, and she appeared in front of Tomek's door.
Man (outside the picture): Coward!
19. Exterior scene, street, night
Tomek appears in front of the bright building.
The man greeted him.
Tomek walked out the door slowly, trotting across the lawn to meet the man. The two stopped opposite each other.
Man (looks at him in a circle): You? Baby?
Tomek nodded silently.
Man (teasingly): Raise your hand!
Tomek clasped his fists to his chest in fear.
The man knocked Tomek to the ground with a straight punch. Then he went up, bent down and stab him.
Man: Don't do it anymore. According to your age, that's not great!
Tomek tried to stand up, but fell down again.
20. Interior view, Tomek’s bedroom, night
Tomek is sleeping on the bed with a wet towel on his face. The old man sat aside and guarded him. The old man lifted the towel, revealing Tomek's scarred face.
Old man: Do you want to sleep?
Tomek nodded silently.
The old man covered him with a towel. Tomek panted heavily, his face turned to one side.

Tomek gently walked into Magda's floor with a bottle of milk early in the morning , his face swelling. He walked to Magda's door, squatted down, and gently placed the bottle next to the door. Suddenly, the door opened, and Tomek was pushed to somersault.
Magda: I think it's you!
Tomek stared at her wordlessly.
Magda (stepping away): I'm alone-don't you want to come in?
Tomek shook his head.
Magda: Did you hang the key on the doorknob for a while?
Tomek nodded.
Magda knelt down and looked at Tomek's swollen face.
Magda (laughs): Not bad. (Tomek turns her face, she reaches out to support his chin) You can't fight?
Tomek shook her hand away, got up and walked to the window at the end of the corridor, with his back facing Magda.
Magda (following him, standing behind him): After all, why are you watching me?
Tomek (not looking back): Because I love you.
Magda smiled contemptuously.

Tomek: I don't know.

He closed his eyes tightly, seeming to experience this happy moment. (From music) He put a piece of ice in his mouth and sucked it. Finally, he smiled. He smiled and went downstairs.
