Little boy's faith

Little Boy is a very touching story, a story about faith.
He is a lot shorter than his peers, and his friends don't play with him and tease him all day long. Fortunately, he has an old man who treats him as a friend, and he is very happy with him.
But because of his flat feet, his father wanted to join the army instead of his brother, so Pepper began his journey of faith, and he firmly believed that he could let his father come back.
This belief comes from the pastor, but also from the Japanese. The existence of the Japanese only made the little boy's approach and his brother's approach a contrast.
His brother hated the Japanese very much, and he believed that the Japanese caused his father to lose his life and could not return to him. But the fact is that this Japanese has left Japan for 42 years, and the war has nothing to do with him. The only thing that matters is the Japanese face. Americans who lost their relatives because of the war want to cast their anger on the innocent Japanese.
But little boy is different, he has his innocence, he has the ignorance he should have at his age. He believes the pastor's words, if he can complete the things on the list given by the pastor, his father will come back.
He really did it one by one, using his belief and courage to defeat a stronger partner, and using his belief to prove that he can "move" the mountains. (The earthquake should be a coincidence, haha) His belief also gave many people hope. The best hope is that the Hiroshima atomic bomb will explode and the Americans can go home.
All these beliefs have become his beliefs-believing that Dad will be able to go home!
At the end of the film, it also gave a good ending. His father did not die in the battle. He just played an oolong before.
When I watched Pepper say Partner to my father, I would think of the opening title:
Partner, do u believe you can do this?
So, my eyes were wet instantly.
Although such stories are not ordinary and surprising, they are warm and warm.

Little Boy quotes

  • Pepper Flynt Busbee: I think it was stupid of me to believe that a midget like me could bring my dad back with some stupid list.

Hashimoto: It was not stupid. It takes courage to believe. Your father would be more than proud of you. All the love you have for him was contained in that list.

  • [last lines]

Pepper Flynt Busbee: [upon reuniting with his dad] Partner! I got the boots you really wanted. It's me, partner.

James Busbee: [receives the boy's hug] Partner.
