at dawn, on a deserted road. A car climbed over the hill and drove over from the downline of the highway. Before the car passed the camera, the headlights of the car were still on.
Opening credits. The background of the subtitles is white clouds and trees reflecting on the windshield.
I saw a man and a woman on the front seat of the car through the windshield. Christina was driving, and Andrei was sitting next to her. She is wearing a fine wool sweatshirt with a low neckline and tight deerskin pants. Andrei was wearing a light-colored summer suit. The shirt on the inside was unbuttoned and his tie was pulled aside. Both people wear wedding rings and watches on their hands. Although it had just dawned and the weather was muggy and hot, the faces of both people were sweaty.
Take pictures of this highway from a moving car. A warning sign read: "The road ahead is narrow." Behind the sign is a temporary bridge. The right side of the bridge is under construction and is surrounded by railings. There is a warning sign on it, informing the passing vehicles to give priority to the vehicles from the opposite side.
Kristina slowed down and changed gears. The sound of gear shifting was very harsh, and Andrei frowned upon hearing it, and reached out to turn the steering wheel straight, aiming it forward. She glanced at him and said something, but their conversation was almost indistinguishable.
Christina: What's the matter?
Andrei: I didn't say a word.
There was a short silence.
Andrei: You drove to the left side of the road.
She ignored it.
Andrei: You are driving on the left. You have to keep to the right.
There was another silence.
Andrei: Can you drive on the right?
Kristina stepped on the brake to stop and opened the door. The order to do morning exercises came from the radio in the car:
Voice-over: Stretch your arms...fold your arms.
Christina stepped out of the car, walked around to the other side of the car, and opened the door. Andrey was obviously reluctant, but she moved to the driver's seat, and she sat in the right front seat that he had just vacated.
Andrei and Christina's back view. She lit a cigarette. Andrei lazily starts the car, shifts gears, and drives. After a while, he looked at Christina next to him, smiled, and leaned over to kiss her on the neck. She didn't respond, but looked ahead nonchalantly.
Andrei turned his head, and the car continued to drive, silent in the car.
Andrei (suddenly): As soon as the day broke, these people were waiting.
Through the windshield, you can see a young man standing in the center of the highway. He wears a pullover, tights, canvas shoes, and a rucksack on his body, which is very worn from head to toe.
Andrei honked his horn while stepping on the accelerator.
Christina still stared straight ahead.
Looking through the windshield, he saw the young man standing right in front of the car. His legs were slightly separated and his right arm was raised.
Andrei hurriedly slammed the steering wheel to the left. There was a harsh sound of tires rubbing against the ground.
See the young man through the windshield. The car skidded suddenly and he disappeared in front of the glass. Suddenly his figure appeared again, close to the car. The car slid again, and finally stopped on the road.
The young man disappeared from the picture frame.
Andrea and Christina looked nervously in the direction of the young man. Andrei hurriedly opened the door and stepped out of the car. He faced the young man, and the young man stepped back.
In the foreground, the young man pointed his finger at the headlights of the car.
Boy: Your light is still on!
Andrey turned around and walked towards the car involuntarily. He slipped into the car and turned off the headlights without closing the door. In the background, the young man pulled his clothes, patted the dust on his body, and put on his backpack.
Andrei: Bastard! asshole!
He closed the car door angrily.
Andrey's profile. He was angry and annoyed, fighting all over. He lit a cigarette and changed gears to start the car. He suddenly stretched his head out of the window.
Andrei: Listen! If you intercept the car half a mile ahead, you will die on this highway today! I actually stopped the car, which is a miracle.
He turned to look at Christina.
Andrei: If you were driving the car, you would be crushed to death...
He stopped halfway through.
Christina's dumb face.
Andrei: You will stop the car and invite this young man in the car. Sorry, baby, please forgive me.
Andrei jumped out of the car, pulled the door, mockingly asked the young man to get in the car.
Andrei: Can you please give me a face, please! Would you like to sit in the front seat or the back seat? There are pillows and blankets, maybe you want to sleep; we try not to disturb you. I turned off the radio and we were silent.
Would you please... He turned off the radio, and the boy took a few steps forward timidly. Andrea pulled out the blanket and pillow and threw it at him, sat back in the driver's seat, and closed the front door heavily.
The young man got into the back seat of the car, and the car started before he could close the door. Everyone was silent for a while.
Boy: Today is Sunday... Sunday. No trucks leave on Sundays. Your car is so beautiful. I thought it was the embassy car. The embassy car will stop...
Andrei and Christina's back, they didn't say a word. After a while, the young man spoke again.
Boy: I didn't expect it to be a private car. (He looks out the window, the car drives past a gas station) Gas station! (Silence for a moment) How could I have expected this to be a private car?
Christina: Maybe it's the embassy that asked him to go for a drive on Sunday?
Andrei: They call drivers, not drivers.
Boy: I can see it. Everything that should be seen is visible. Polish license... Besides, are you like a driver for the embassy?
Andrei: It's a decent car now in private hands.
Boy: Type 404 is the best. I have seen a 190SL and two Jaguars in Warsaw, and now I ran into your car again, damn it—sorry, you drive 130 miles per hour just like playing.
Christina: My husband drove a good car.
Boy: Damn it! Yo, sorry.
Andrei (laughs): Where are you going?
Boy: Where are you?
Andrei: It's not far, just go to the dock.
Boy: It's better than not taking a ride. If I had been in such a great car from Warsaw, that would be great.
Andrei: What if I didn't stop the car?
Boy: There is one more corpse on the road.
Andrei: Did you take the ride for fun?
Boy: Otherwise, what can be adjusted in life?
Christina: How old are you?
Andrei: Even if I crush a little guy to death, I must count as a crime to crush a person.
The car drove away from the camera and disappeared around the corner.
There are several pieces of white sails drying on the ground, and in the background is a dock on the lake with several small sailing boats moored, the masts of the sailing boats gently swaying against the twilight sky. There are several boats with the bottom facing up on the side of the road. There is no one around here. The car drove over and stopped.
Christina was the first to get out of the car. The young man handed her a large handbag from the back seat.
Christina: Thank you.
Andre got out of the car from the driver's seat. After the boy got out of the car, the three of them all looked at the lake. Andrei walked to the back of the car and opened the back box to retrieve the luggage. Kristina took one from time to time. She struggled to pick up a large canvas bag, but finally slipped to the ground without her hands. The young man hurried over and picked up the canvas bag.
Boy: Where can I get it?
Christina (refers to the floating dock): There.
Then she turned to Andrea.
Christina: The key!
Andrei threw the key over and began to untie his belt and change clothes.
In the background, Christina and the young man walked towards the floating dock. He was carrying a large canvas bag, and she was carrying a canvas backpack and her handbag for him. Pieces of sails were drying on the ground.
Rows of "Finnish" ship masts line the water, and a calm lake is in the distance. Andrea took off his shirt.
Christina stood still on the floating dock and took off her shoes.
She was standing on the deck of a big sailing ship, and the young man was standing in the foreground. The camera rolls up along the tall mast.
Christina: Please put down the bag.
Young man: I will pass it to you.
He carried the canvas bag onto the deck and handed it to Christina, who had descended into the cabin.
Andrei walked along the floating dock with a pipe in his mouth and a canvas bag on his shoulders. He is now dressed in a sweater, slacks, and a pair of rubber boots. Suddenly, the hatch under the boy's feet pushed upward, and he jumped off the hatch suddenly, almost losing his balance. Kristina dragged a few rolls of sails out of the hatch. Andrei also took off his rubber boots and stepped onto the deck now. The young man turned around to question him.
Boy: Is it rented?
Andrei: No, our own.
Christina unfurled the sails, and Andrea knelt beside her to help. The young man stood awkwardly for a while, and finally put on his rucksack.
Boy: I'm leaving now.
Andrei was busy fiddling with the sails, just raised his head and smiled and waved goodbye. The young man left.
Andrei tied a sail to the spar, and looked at the young man going away.
Andrei: Hey!
The young man stopped and looked back.
Boy: What's the matter?
Andrei: Come here.
Boy: I have to hurry.
Andrei: Come here, I have something to tell you.
The young man walked back a few steps and stood still some distance away.
Young man: How is it?
Andrei: Do you know what I want to say?
Christina (voice-over): There is a lot of water at the bottom of the boat!
Andrei: It's over when you scoop it out.
Young man: I don't know. What are you going to say?
The young man stood in the foreground, and Andrei stood on the boat in the background.
Andrei: I advise you a word. Remember to avoid the Sim card car.
Boy: I know. The brakes of this brand of car are not working.
Christina flashed on the screen.
Christina: Can't you do it?
Andrei: I said it, scoop it out. (To the young man) Not only the shutters are not working, but the driving nerves are not working.
Both of them laughed.
Boy: Tell you the truth. I always do it like this morning. But the oncoming car started to brake from half a mile away, but it still refused to let me take a ride. When you came straight at me, I couldn't even hide.
Andrei: I deliberately want to scare you.
Boy: Damn it! I'm sorry to say something foul. You really scared me.
The young man stood in the foreground hesitantly, and Andrei was busy fiddling with the sails.
Young man: Then I'm leaving.
Andrei: Untie the cable for me.
The young man looked around countlessly in his heart, he squatted next to the mooring pile, trying to untie the mooring rope.
Boy: You mean this?
Andrei: That's right.
He saw the young man unwind the rope clumsily, so he got off the boat and came over to do it himself.
Andrei: Have you never been into the water before?
Boy: No. I walk.
Andrei: Then when will you discover America?
Boy: I like to walk, just relying on two legs. You know, advance automatically.
Andrei untied the rope and picked it up.
Andrei: It's such a job.
He dragged the cable out of the painting.
Boy: Wait until I have time to learn.
Andrei dragged the rope into the painting again. He squatted on the floating dock next to the young man and tied the boat back on.
Andrei: Unfortunately, we only have one day of work.
Boy: I have no time either. (He looks at the car parked on the road) Don't you take the wiper off?
Andrei: No one steals here. Even if it's stolen, it's good to go with.
Boy: Can I ask you for a favor?
Andrei: What's the matter?
Boy: How long do you plan to stay on the boat?
Andrei (smiles, draws): Until tomorrow morning.
Andrei then busy his preparations on the deck. He turned his back to the young man, and didn't look back when he spoke. Christina helped him lay the sails.
Boy: Can I...
Andrei: How about it?
Boy: Come back here in the morning and take your car back?
Andrei (laughs): I thought your sailor's nature was awakened!
Young man (a step closer): Can you help me?
Andrei: We can deal with it.
Young man: Then I'm leaving.
But he remained motionless. Andrey looked at him thoughtfully. Both people were silent.
Andrei: Are you still upstairs?
Young man: I know that if you have said enough, I won't say any more.
Andrei: You bastard. But I really like you.
He walked towards the mast. The young man picked up his rucksack and walked out of the screen.
Andrei yanked a few times and opened the sails. He looked back, and the young man walked far along the floating dock.
Andrei: Hey!
The young man stopped immediately. He turned and walked back a few steps. Andrei nodded and motioned for him to come.
Boy: I know you will call me.
Andrei: It's impossible!
Boy: I know. I understand what you are thinking.
Andrei: What do you think?
Boy: Are you going to continue joking?
Andrei laughed openly. The light of the sun was reflected on the lake.
Andrei: Child, you are not my partner.
Boy: You called me back.
Andrei: Take your boots off and board the boat.
A sail flew across the camera.
The young man walked on the sailing boat barefoot with his boots in his hands. Christina passed him by. Andrei began to give orders, and she responded obediently.
Andrei: Unmoor and set sail!
Christina: Alas, alas! Unhook the boat!
She released the rope and jumped onto the deck.
Andrei (outside the picture): The bow is to the left!
In the foreground, Andrei is at the helm. The young man wanted to help, but Christina was swiftly carrying out her husband's orders.
Christina: Alas, alas! Bow to the left!
The sailboat drifted slowly away from the port. The camera returns to Andrei who is at the helm.
Andrei: The foremast sails in the wind!
Kristina: Alas, alas! The foremast sails in the wind!
The camera returns to Andrei.
Andrei: Get ready to drive in the wind!
The sail rod slammed straight towards the young man. He couldn't dodge and was almost hit by the sail.
Andrei (outside the picture): Be quick to react on the boat...
Kristina carried a bucket and poured the water out of the boat.
Young man (takes the bucket in her hand): Please let me do this.
She walked out of the picture.
Andrei (outside the picture): ...Strict discipline.
Andrei sat on the rudder. Behind him is an endless lake. From time to time, there was the singing of birds.
Andrei: When I passed the helmsman exam, there was a sailor...
he turned to Christina. At this moment the young man came out of the bottom compartment and poured out a bucket of water.
Boy: Damn it! Yo, sorry. Why did you get so much water?
Andrei (continued): He asked, "Did you see that willow tree?" It was actually an oak tree. The sailor said it was a willow tree, it was a willow tree. Sometimes, he let us sit in the willow tree for several hours.
Young man (pouring another bucket of water): On the oak tree...
Andrei: It's a willow tree in our eyes. He also made us grumble.
The young man paused at the door of the cabin and moved his boots aside.
Boy: What do you want you to do?
Andrei: Let us growl like birds.
Boy: Are you cooing?
Andrei: That captain is not a smart person. But he has cultivated a group of tough guys.
We saw the rapids left behind at the stern. The birdsong became louder and louder.
The distant view of this sailing ship, it slowly moved across the lake. There was only a breeze on the lake, and the water was almost calm. This is a hot summer day, and the sun has risen. The lake bank in the distant scene is thick with trees. Kirstena was basking in the sun on the bow of the boat in a bathing suit, humming a tune. Andrei sits on the helm with his shirt naked and trousers. The young man sat on the boat with his legs drooping outside the boat. He looked back.
Boy: Has the boat gone?
Andrei (outside the picture): Spits out.
The young man looked at him wonderingly.
Andrei: Spit into the water.
Boy: What's the use?
But he still leaned over and spit out. Foam drifted back, he watched it and smiled.
Boy: Let's go forward.
He leaned forward and put his feet into the water.
Young man: Is it okay to put one leg in?
In the foreground is Andrea next to the helm, facing the young man, Christina is basking in the sun in the background.
Andrei: Yes, no one does that.
Young man: Why?
Andrei: This is not salt for marinating meat.
The young man smiled. Kristina stood up suddenly and went down into the cabin. Through the hatch, she could see what she was looking for in the small kitchen.
Christina: I probably forgot to bring salt.
The young man raised his feet lazily, lay on the side of the boat, and reached the surface of the water with his hands. When he leaned down and looked down, he saw the name of the ship.
Christina (voice-over): Fortunately, I didn't forget to bring salt.
Young man (to Andrei): Is this a tribute to your wife?
Andrei: What?
Young man (patting the side of the ship with his hand): The name of the ship.
Andrei: Yes.
Christina (in the background): But forgot to bring cucumbers.
Boy: Your wife's name is Christine?
Andrei: It's Christina.
Christina: Did you hear me talking?
Andrei: I heard it. You never forgot the key, did you?
Christina: I didn't forget, it's here.
Andrei: Where is it?
Christina: It's on the table.
She brought her breakfast with rye bread, cold meat and a bottle of wine. She gave Andrey and the boy a share each. Andrea took the bottle and uncapped it.
The young man took his rucksack in front of his eyes, took out a handful of raw carrots and handed it to Christina.
Boy: I don't know if you like to eat or not... I bring some radishes.
Christina took the carrot. Andrei behind her was already gnawing bread and pouring wine.
Christina: It's so fresh and tender. I said, we come here every week, why never thought of bringing this.
Andrei: I always say that we should eat more vegetables... vitamins.
The young man sat down on the edge of the hatch. He took out a large folding knife and handed it to Christina.
Christina: Thank you. I have a knife. (She peels off the radish skins expertly) What are you doing with such a dagger?
The young man started playing with knives. The camera shook to the deck with the folding knife.
The young man spread his hands on the deck, leaned over and jabbed quickly between his fingers with a knife. Andrea and Christina looked at him intently.
Boy: Because you need such a knife, especially in the woods. In the water, a knife is useless, but when you want to make a road in the bush...it's really nothing to float on the water. does not matter. But if you only need to move a few steps forward, you have to rely on this knife...that's how it is in life.
Christina: You are such a child.
Andrei (drinking): You will hurt yourself.
Boy: Have you hurt yourself?
Andrei: It's better to be careful alone. No one is so sure.
Andrei held the cup in his hand as he spoke. The young man was eating bread.
Andrei: Once upon a time, there was a sailor who wanted to make a blockbuster. But his companions are better than him. They either tell jokes or
play tricks with cards... The young man stretched out and yawned.
Andrei (outside the picture): ... the sailor suddenly grabbed a few empty bottles from the table and fell to the floor, then climbed onto the table by himself... (he suddenly shuts up and puts down the cup in his hand) listen Tired of it? Then put the cable on the reel. In a roll, do you know what I mean?
He gestured with his hands in the shape of a rope.
Young man: You teach me how to roll it.
Andrei: I have to take the helm. You don’t know how to take the helm, do you?
Young man (stands up): Let me try.
Andrei: You have to learn it first.
Young man: I've done anything harder than this.
Andrei (Concession): Let it follow the navigation mark.
They exchanged positions, and the young man clutched the tiller tightly. Andrei smiled sarcastically, left the stern, sat on the roof of the cabin and watched.
The boom swept over, and the sailboat suddenly tilted to one side, and then bumped up. There was a ping-pong sound of clashing cups and plates.
Andrei (laughs): It's wonderful!
The young man held the tiller in the foreground. Christina and Andrei are in the background.
Andrei: Relax! Feel in your hands. Pull into his arms.
The boat was still bumping, and Andrei walked over and took the rudder. The young man stepped away, and put his hands in his trouser pockets.
Andrei (point to the arm first, then to the head): What you lack is not there, but here.
Christina picked up the tray and walked down the cabin. The young man stopped at the mast with his back turned to Andrea.
Andrei: Let's put the rope on it!
The young man suddenly turned around.
Boy: You can only give orders!
A close-up of Andrey's face.
Andrei: Whenever there are two people on the ship, one of them must be the captain.
The young man had to turn around again and squat down the winding rope, muttering softly in his mouth.
Boy: Or just a sergeant.
He coiled the rope, and both of them were silent for a while.
Boy: Have you ever been a soldier?
Andrei: No. I went to college.
Boy: So what do you do?
Andrei did not answer, and Christina came out of the small kitchen.
Young man: Doctor of gynecology?
Andrei: I write things.
Boy: Do you write poems?
Andrei: Can't you watch "Sports Forum"?
Boy: Don't watch.
Andrei: Pull over, I'm going to turn a corner.
Christina walked to the front mast, and the boy stepped down a few steps into the hatch. Andrei turned the tiller, and the bar swept over again, and the young man escaped the blow of the bar in time.
The sails swept across the screen.
The dense reeds filled the screen. Parting a road in the reeds, I saw the figure of a shirtless man. The young man hunched his bare back and walked hard among the reeds, with a thick rope on his shoulders. He walked forward and the camera pulled away in front of him. Behind him appeared Andrei, who also dragged a thick rope and moved forward with difficulty.
The two walked into the screen, and then walked out of the screen one after another. The reeds suddenly separated and a river appeared. Christina (sitting at the helm) came over the river in a boat. The boat is towed across the river by pulling a fiber. The young man stopped and threw the thick rope down the ground. Andrei stopped behind him.
Andrei: What's wrong?
Young man (to Christina): Please give me the backpack.
Christina let the boat pass by the young man to the shore.
Christina is in the foreground, the camera is aimed at the young man.
Young man (yelling hysterically): I'm leaving. I have had enough. I am a person of home from all corners of the world, but I am not a slender person.
Andrei (outside the picture): You can't eat anymore, can you?
The young man took a step towards the river and stared at Andrea on the opposite bank. He was still so angry.
Boy: There are 120 lakes in Mazur. Do you have to visit every lake?
Andrei stood on the opposite bank, with the young man in the foreground.
Andrea (to Christina): Krisia, give him the backpack. I can deal with it alone.
Kristina (outside the picture): Let's go back by another route.
Boy (to Christina): It's nothing to do with me.
Andrei: You can't stand the toss.
Boy: I don't like to be teased.
He turned and walked towards the sailboat. Christina jumped ashore, holding a rope in her hand.
Christina: You go to the helm.
She pulled the rope, trying to drag the boat closer.
Boy: I'm not here for you.
He walked along the hull towards the bow and out of the picture. The sailboat moved again and moved out of the screen. Christina ran after the boat. Andrei was also chasing after him, he leaned over to catch the rope dragged on the ground while chasing.
The young man pulled the fiber up and ran away, while turning back and shouting.
Boy: You both get on the boat. I can handle it.
Andrei ran into the screen.
Andrei: Give me the rope!
Boy: No, no! Both of you get on the boat.
Andrei grabbed the end of the rope and strode to catch up with the young man. The sailboat enters the screen, and Christina is at the helm. The boat sailed into the center of the river. The voices of the two men got farther and farther away.
Andrei: Get on the boat, please, stop joking!
Young man: I don't, I don't...
a wide open lake, and the sailing boat can be seen in the distance. There was a breeze and the sun was shining.
The young man was wearing swimming trunks, lying on his back on the bow, covering his eyes with his hands, looking at the sky.
Boy: It's 12 o'clock.
Andrey was also wearing swimming trunks, lying on the deck carefully examining a map. There was a compass, a pipe and cigarette case and other smoking accessories, and a pair of sunglasses beside him. He looks at his watch.
Andrei: 12:08.
Close-up of Christina, she is at the helm.
Christina: He didn't wear a watch.
Young man (outside the picture): We wasted two hours through that river.
The young man sat on the bow, and Andrei was in the foreground. The young man blew his whistle. He was blowing the tune Christina had hummed not long ago.
Andrei: You can't whistle on the ship.
Young man: Why not?
Andrei: This is the rule on board. Being a sailor is trained by climbing five masts. Homeless people can't make the climate.
The young man stood up and walked slowly towards the mast. He stood still under the mast, spit on the palm of his hand, and began to climb up. Andrei stood in the foreground and looked away. The camera shakes with the boy. Christina sat at the helm and looked at him.
The young man climbed to the top of the pole and looked down at Andrea.
Boy: Do you need to growl?
He slipped off the mast. Christina looked at him. Andrei in the foreground deliberately didn't look at the young man. The young man entered the screen barefoot and climbed up again without touching the deck. Andrei finally turned to face the mast.
Andrei: I should kick your ass.
Christina said to Andrei who was sitting on the deck.
Christina: Andrei, let's get on the shore.
He patted the young man on top of the mast. He laughed and looked down.
Andrei: Why, change course for him?
Boy: You can't reach me when I climb here.
He came down from the mast a second time.
Andrei: Do I have to give him a gold watch?
Andrei walked towards Christina at the helm. In the background, the young man slid down from the mast and entered the screen.
Andrei: Alright, let me do it.
Christina stood up, Andrei took her place, and the young man stepped onto the deck in the background.
Andrei: Dodge, I'm going to turn!
Andrei gave a series of instructions briefly in nautical terms, and Christina executed the orders quickly and skillfully. The sail bar swept over again, and the young man drew away.
Young man (sarcastically): God bless!
The young man packed his rucksack at the exit of the cabin. Christina lit a small gas stove. There are dense clouds on the horizon in the distance. The wind gradually subsided, and the speed of the boat was obviously slow.
Boy: Where are my boots?
Christina: You are there wherever you put it.
The young man jumped into the cabin and took out his boots and put them on the bow.
He sat down on the deck, folded his pants, and lay down on his back.
In the foreground is Andrei, and in the background is the cabin entrance and the leaning young man. Christina put a soup pot on the gas stove to heat up, and came over by herself to sit next to Andrei. She put on her sunglasses, opened a small bottle, and rubbed sunscreen on her body.
Christina (to Andrei): Help me wipe my back.
Andrei rubbed oil on her back vigorously, humming softly the tune Christina had just hummed in his mouth, unknowingly turning from humming to whistling. The young man lifted his body slightly and looked at him with a smile. Their eyes met, and Andrei stopped blowing. The young man lay down again.
Young man: A ram. (Note 1)
Andrea (provocatively): Who are you talking about?
Young man: A cloud, like a ram.
Andrei and Christina at the stern. Andrei put on his sunglasses, and the two looked up into the sky.
Andrei: The truth. Over there, on the left... also like a ram.
Kebastina: The clouds are getting bigger and bigger.
Andrei: It's going to be a storm.
The young man raised an arm, the camera panned, and the other two also entered the frame.
Boy: Impossible. How did you know that the joints hurt?
He turned over and lay prone on the deck, stretched his head out of the boat, looked at his reflection in the water, and made a few grimacing faces.
Christina: There is still time to swim.
Shot of the young man's reflection in the water. He spit out, with an unbelievable look, then spit out again.
From the perspective of the young man, we saw two tufts of spit floating on the water, motionless. The young man watched silently for a while.
Young man (very disappointed voice): But we didn't even move.
Andrei and Christina are sitting in the stern, with a young man in the background.
Christina: The wind stopped.
Boy: What do you do now?
Andrei: I'm hungry for lunch.
He got up and walked out of the screen toward the small kitchen, and then entered the screen with a folded aluminum table. He put the table on the deck, got into the cabin again and disappeared. Christina followed him down. The young man stood in the background. Andrea and Christina came out with a tablecloth, a bottle of wine, wine glasses and plastic tableware. The young man walked forward two steps hesitantly and stopped at the ship's hatch. He took out a crumpled handkerchief and tied it to his chin, and Christina and Andrei took out the plates, forks, and food.
Boy: Is there a small bowl for washing your fingers (note 2)?
Andrei gave him a ferocious look. Ke Sitina sat at the table. Andrei went into the cabin again and took out the hot soup pot, which had a special handle. The young man looked at this handle and laughed. Andrea ignored it.
Boy: Is your invention?
Andrei sat down at the table facing Christina, holding the handle to pour out the soup. Pour Christina's share first, then his own share, and he hesitated when he poured the third share. The young man lay on the deck laughing out of breath, and hit the deck with his heels.
Andrei: Do you think this is redundant? You can try to serve the pot without this handle. come!
The laughter broke off, and the young man came over and knelt on the deck, hesitated, and then held the soup pot with both hands. He gritted his teeth, and a string of Shinhan beads appeared on his forehead.
Andrea and Christina looked at each other embarrassedly. The young man held the soup pot and refused to put it down.
Christina leaned forward and broke his hand apart. The soup pot suddenly fell into the cabin, and the soup in it was spilled.
Boy: I didn't spill it! You spilled it!
He jumped up and ran across the deck, leaning on the mast with his back to the Andrés. Andrei put down the handle and picked up an opener. Christina is in the foreground. She looked at the young man, poured half of her soup to him, and shouted.
Christina: Why don't you come for dinner?
Boy: I want to go ashore now. Is there a way to leave here?
Andrea drank the soup calmly.
Andrei: There are oars.
Boy: Where is the oar?
Andrei pointed to the bow.
Andrei: It's in the tip cabin.
Christina: Let's eat now.
Andrei: Driving a sailboat is an adult thing. If there is wind, it will move, and if there is no wind, it will not move.
The young man suddenly turned to face them.
Boy: What a waste of time!
Christina: Then what would you rather do?
Young man: On foot.
Christina: What is it for?
Boy: Walking is for constant exercise. Can you feel it? Just to keep moving.
Christina: Don't be silly, come and eat.
Andrei and Christina went on eating without saying a word. The young man suddenly walked towards the bow. He took out the oars from the tip cabin, walked to the gunwale and started rowing.
A close-up shot of the young man rowing hard.
The oars could not stay on the surface of the water. The young man stopped and looked worriedly at his palm, which was already soaked. He looked around the lake and started rowing again. The oars swept across the water.
Young man (voice-over): Please set the helm, I want to go there.
Andrea and Christina have finished their food and are drinking.
Andrei: I seem to hear someone giving orders?
Christina: This gentleman wants to change his course.
Young man (voice-over): I want to go to the shore of the lake.
Christina lit a cigarette and Andrei was loading a pipe.
Andrei: There is also a lakeshore over there.
Young man (voice-over): At least I can see this lakeshore.
Andrei: It's just a shoal.
Young man (voice-over): So what? If you row along the shallows, you won't destroy the boat, right?
Christina: Andrei, let's go there, there will always be a way out.
Andrei reached out and turned the tiller, turned around, and the ship immediately changed its course.
The oar clicked into the lens of the water, and then the lens returned to the Andrés. Christina stood up and lifted the table. She picked up some leftover food from the deck and threw it into the water.
Christina: Why did he climb onto the table?
Andrei: Who is that?
Christina: That captain.
Andrei: Which sailor captain?
Christina: The one that broke the bottles.
Andrei: That's either a sailor, or a sailor. (Silence for a while) Then he jumped off the table and landed on the broken bottles. The blood from his wound sprayed all the way to the ceiling.
Christina: What happened later?
Young man (voice-over): This is really a man.
Andrei looked at the young man, reached out and fiddled with the tiller, letting it follow the hull.
The ship is moving, this time getting further and further away from the camera.
Andrea and Christina were sitting on the boat and moved out of the camera with the boat. See the side of the ship first, then the bow, and then the side of the ship. The young man paddled desperately. Andrei and Christina sat on the stern and snickered.
The young man stopped, looked around, realized that he had been fooled, and stared at the couple ferociously.
The camera returns to Andrei and Christina next to the tiller. The young man rushed to them from the deck, holding the oar in both hands, and the crumpled handkerchief tied around his neck.
Young man: What's wrong? What are you doing?
Andrei: Take off your bib!
The young man raised the oar, hesitated, then threw the oar into the lake. Andrei jumped up.
Andrei: Jump down!
The young man looked at him motionless.
Andrei: Jump down!
Young man: I don't!
Christina: Please get back the oar.
The young man still refused to move. He tore off the handkerchief tied around his neck abruptly.
Boy: I can't swim.
Andrei: This is not just for fun.
Boy: I can't swim. Do you want me to drown?
Andrei: Jump down!
Christina: Shut me up.
She took off her sunglasses, approached the ship's side, and went down the boat into the water.
Kristina shot in the lake. After a few strokes, she swam to the oar and retracted the oar. Although the dense clouds are moving closer and closer, the waves are still as flat as a mirror, and the sun is warm. Christina swam back to the sailing boat and handed the oars back to Andrea. He took it with a smile, put the oar back to the bow position, put the folding chair away, and the camera swayed with him.
Christina (voice-over): I feel comfortable in the water. Give me the crocodile.
Andrei walked down the cabin. The young man went to the bow and sat down. He heard a puff of air, and looked around curiously. A large rubber crocodile protruded from the hatch, and Andrei continued to blow while holding the crocodile out. Then he threw the crocodile towards Christina in the lake.
In the background, the young man fiddled with his jackknife, with a sarcasm at the corner of his mouth. He spread his fingers on the deck, and quickly poke between his fingers with the tip of a knife. In the depth of the field, Christina can be seen holding a rubber crocodile playing in the lake.
Andrei: You will stab the deck.
Boy: I'm playing "by feeling".
Andrei walked up to the young man.
Andrei: If you fall into the water...you will swim, right?
The young man continued to play with him, and Andre stood condescendingly beside him. In the distance is Christina.
Boy: Don't you try?
Kristina (calling), Andrei! The crocodile is leaking and blisters.
Andrei leaned down and knelt, putting his palms on the side of the young man's palms. The young man suddenly pressed against the outside of Andrea's hand and thrust the knife into the deck. Andrei grinned and quickly pulled his hand back. The young man smiled mockingly.
Boy: I'm just kidding.
Andrei put his hand back to where he was just now. The young man asked him to spread his fingers.
Andrei supported his body with his hands. The young man tapped the knife again, but this time Andrei did not move. The young man didn't even look down, pricked Andrei's fingers with the tip of his knife, and smiled triumphantly. His pace of tapping the knife became faster and faster, and he looked straight into Andrey's eyes, and his smile became unscrupulous.
Andrei grabbed the young man's hand abruptly, squeezed it hard, and the knife fell on the deck. Andrei turned the palm of the young man over.
The young man's palm was full of blisters.
The camera returns to Andrei, who holds the young man's hand. In the distance is Christina swimming in the lake.
Christina: Andrei, give me the flippers.
Andrei (to the young man): There is a medicine cabinet in the cabin. You clean up your hands.
The young man withdrew his hand back without answering.
Andrei: Don't you want me to help?
Andrei stepped out of the screen. The young man stood up silently and walked down the cabin. The knife was thrown in the foreground of the camera, and Andrei came over to look at the knife, picked it up and looked at it for a while, and then started playing with the knife.
At the hatch, the young man leaned out of the cabin, holding fins in one hand, sterilizing gauze and adhesive tape in the other, and pinching a piece of naked wheaten bread, taking a bite from time to time. Andrei was still kneeling in the old place behind the hatch, practicing the "knife game". The young man watched for a while and quietly put down his fins. But Andrei realized that he came behind him, and stopped practicing awkwardly. Andrei first planned to poke the knife on the deck, but then changed his mind, put the knife down, and stood up by himself. The young man was also embarrassed because he ate the bread. He turned around and put the piece of bread into his mouth, then sat in the hatch and rubbed the blisters on his hand.
Andrea picked up his flippers and put them on, and jumped into the water. He swam a few times before reaching Christina's side.
The young man put adhesive tape on his hand while chewing rye bread, looking at the couple playing in the water. He got up and walked to the bow of the boat to pick up his knife, folded it and put it in his pocket, and walked back to the original place.
Panoramic lens. Andrea and Christina were playing in the water, and the sound of their indulgent laughter came from the surface of the water.
A gust of wind blew in, skewing the sails to one side. The sail slapped the young man on the back hard, almost throwing him into the water. The young man squatted down. The ship puffed up its sails and sailed quickly downwind.
The young man climbed to the tiller, sat on the narrow stool, clenched the tiller in one hand, and the sail foot in the other, hurriedly at a loss, trying to stabilize the boat.
Andrei and Christina stopped playing in the water and watched the sailboat crooked on one side, full of sails, rushing towards the pools.
The sailboat passed by the two people very fast, almost hitting them. Andrea wanted to swim over, and kept slapping the water with his arm. Christina stared at the sailing boat nervously.
Christina (calling): Stop the boat against the wind! Stop the boat against the wind!
The young man on the boat hugged the tiller tightly. He released the noose, and the sailboat tilted against the wind.
Andrei used all his strength to beat the water to swim over, and the sailing boat that was going away suddenly turned again and drove back quickly, almost hitting him. Andre swam around after the sailboat, yelling loudly.
Andrei: Take the cable!
Christina in the foreground is holding the crocodile and watching Andrei chasing the boat. The sailboat turned again, swaying and staggering in the water. Suddenly it rushed towards Christina again. She yelled and stepped away.
Christina: Let go of the sails!
The sailboat hurried past her. The young man loosened the noose of the sail. The sails flapped in the wind, the speed of the boat slowed down, and then it came to a complete standstill.
Kristina threw the crocodile in the water and went straight to the sailboat. A light breeze made ripples. The young man helped her to the stern.
Christina took the tiller, and the hull immediately stabilized. Andrei dragged the crocodile to swim from the background. He swam to the side of the boat and climbed onto the boat from the side of the boat. He climbed onto the boat and dropped the crocodile, took off his fins, and laughed loudly.
Andrei: You must have scared the soul away.
Andrei in the foreground, Christina and the guy in the rear cabin in the background.
Young man: I almost figured out some way later, but I don't know the direction of the wind.
Andrei pointed to the end of the thread wound on the brace.
Andrei: All you have to do is look at the direction in which this thread is blowing.
The young man put his face close to the end of the thread, grasped it in his hand and examined it carefully.
The sky was gloomy and gusts of wind rose suddenly.
Andrei held the tiller, and the young man was in the foreground.
Andrei wiped his body with a towel.
Andrei: Would you like to try the ability to hold a ship?
The young man nodded and said nothing.
Andrei (voice-over): Look at your skills. It takes a bit of guts.
Boy: You mean, you want me to hang on the side of the boat, right?
The young man grabbed the brace, pressed his foot against the boat, and hung his body on the sloping lake.
Andrei: That's right. Hang as far as you can.
Christina sat down in the foreground.
Andrei at the helm moved into her background. The boat was almost reclining on the lake, the boat gang swept over the waves on the lake, and water splashed on the deck.
Kristina held the tight sail noose in her hand and reached out to the ship's side.
The young man hung out of the boat, squeezing the rope and yelling.
Boy: Let's run so fast!
Christina answered with a smile.
Kristina: Isn't this what we came out for?
The young man grasped the support rope with his hands, his feet emptied, drooping on the surface of the water.
Young man: I would rather walk...
He "walked" on the water with his feet.
Young man's smiling face, close-up.
Andrea and Christina looked at each other with smiles.
The sailboat was driven straight by a strong wind and quickly passed through the screen. Suddenly, the boat drove straight towards the camera.
The young man kept his balance and hung in the air by grasping the cable.
The oncoming boat turned again and drew a semicircle away from the camera.
Close shot of Andrei and Christina. The excitement caused by high-speed sailing made them happy.
The camera returned to the young man hanging in the air.
A distant view of a high-speed sailing boat, reflecting the reflection of the sun and dense dark clouds on the lake. Dark clouds obscured the sun, and the sky was instantly darkened.
He patted the sailing boat leaning to the side, and the boat suddenly stopped moving. The mast and sails almost tipped over. Andrei was shaken to let go of the tiller and the noose in his hand. He and Christina were thrown out all at once and hit the boat gang.
The young man fell into the water from the support, and he stood up all at once, because the water only covered his belt. The boat stopped moving, leaning over him. Andrei climbed to the other side of the ship and screamed.
Andrei: Knife! That knife!
The young man threw the knife over, and Andrei caught the knife and crawled towards the mast.
The young man looked at him intently.
Andrei cut the halyard and retracted the mainsail.
Andrei was in the boat, and the young man was standing on the shallows. Andrea jumped into the water from the boat and returned the knife to the young man.
Andrei: See your ghost. Didn't I warn you? Here is the shallows.
Christina stayed on the boat, and the two men were standing in the water, with the leaning sailboat in the background.
Christina: You are at the helm.
Boy: Let's push the boat straight.
Andrei: Be calm.
Christina: The wind stopped again.
Andrei walked towards the stern, testing the depth of the lake with his feet. At this time it started to rain. Andrei suddenly sank down when he reached the position equivalent to the rear compartment, and the water was as deep as his neck. He took a breath and dived to the bottom, then surfaced again after a while. The young man and Christina waited for him to speak.
Christina: How is it?
Andrei walked into the screen.
Andrei: The water on the other side of the ship is much deeper.
Boy: Can we deal with it?
Andrei (to Christina): Pass me the oar!
Christina stretched out her hand and fetched a short-handled oar from the tip cabin.
Andrei: No, no! Want the long one.
Kristina took out the long-handled oars and went down the boat into the water. Two men approached her.
There was thunder and heavy rain. The two pushing the boat almost disappeared in the rain and fog.
Andrei: Use oars!
The three said in unison: Ah! --Oh! -
Sailing gradually straighten.
The screen was completely dark. (Fade in) The misty water and raindrops. The camera slowly moved upwards to shoot, and a lakeshore appeared in the background.
The sailboat sailed towards the thick reeds on the shore. It was still raining heavily.
The camera shoots the sailing ship into the reeds from the bow.
Andrei: Lower the fore mast.
Kristina: Alas, alas, foresail...
Kristina covered her swimsuit with a short raincoat and a waterproof cap. She lowered the sails.
Andrei: Drop anchor!
The young man, wearing a hat and swimming trunks, helped Christina pick up the anchor and throw it into the water; Andrei wore a long raincoat and tied the fore mast.
At the entrance of the cabin, pouring rain sealed the hatch. Christina rushed into the cabin, and Andrei and the young man followed her. There was thunder.
The camera took pictures of the cabin entrance from the cabin. Three people rushed in one after another, and they felt wet and cold. Looking out from the entrance, there was a curtain of rain. The sound of rain and rolling thunder came from the roof of the cabin. When Andrei buttoned the hatch, a flash of lightning shone on his face. Christina leaned over and asked him to untie the strap of the waterproof cap for herself.
Christina, unlock it for me!
Andrei: Alright...
Andrea took off his raincoat, Kristina took out a few towels, and everyone was busy wiping their bodies. Andrei used a lighter to light the kerosene lamp hung on the balance frame. In the background, some wet pants were already hanging.
There was the sound of torrential rain outside, and the buzzing of a mosquito was heard indoors. The young man is standing in the foreground, wearing a pullover. Kristina stood in the background with her back to the camera and took off her swimsuit. The young man got his head out from the sweater neckline, and he turned around quickly when he saw her naked back. She looked back at him.
Christina: Please don't look back.
The young man slapped his forehead and killed the mosquito that fell on his forehead.
Andrea took a radio from the shelf and unscrewed it, and the narrator's hurried voice during the live sports broadcast came from the radio.
Andrei: Christina, bring the wine glass, hurry up!
In the foreground is Andrey's extended arm, and the young man is standing behind his arm. In the background is Christina, who has already put on a bathrobe at the moment, with a large towel in one hand, and a few wine glasses in the other hand and handed them to Andrea. Another mosquito buzzed, turning around on the young man's head, his eyes chasing the mosquito. Christina then wiped her body dry.
Andrei poured brandy into the glass, frowning and staring at the young man.
The young man turned his head. In the background, Christina settled in a folding bed. Andrei walked into the screen with two filled wine glasses, one to Christina and one to the young man.
Andrei: The panacea.
Andrea took the wine bottle and his own wine glass from the pot table, set the activity table, put the wine glass on the table, and raised a toast.
Andrei: Cheers to the voyager!
The three drink congratulations.
In the foreground, Christina took out two rubber air mattresses. The young man and Andrei sat in front of the radio and listened to the sports broadcast-the live broadcast of the Polish team against the Turkish team in the international amateur boxing match.
Kirstena: Let's inflate the air cushion.
Two men took the cushion from her.
Boy: Let's play!
Andrei: Agree, wait a minute. (He draws out a small hand pump from behind) Let's start!
They both started at the same time. Andrea used an air pump, and the young man blew by his mouth. While they were busy cheering up, they listened to the over-excited voice of the commentator on the radio.
Andrei calmly pressed the air pump with his hands, listening to the radio with his ears, and staring at the young man. The young man suffocated his breath and blew. Kristina combed her hair calmly.
Boy: I'm done.
Andrei in the foreground continued to press the air pump slowly, listening very carefully. The young man and Christina were behind him.
Andrei: They sent that idiot to Ankara again.
Boy: Our welterweight boxer can't send any better than him.
Andrey's air cushion was also full of air, and he plugged the valve tightly.
Andrei: I mean the narrator, it's just nonsense.
Christina put some soft biscuits, chocolates and crackers on the small table.
Andrei and the young man sat opposite each other on the bunks on both sides of the small table. Andrei added a round of brandy, and the two drank each other. Christina asked the young man while unpacking the pretzels.
Christina: Can you play bridge?
Young man: Yes.
Christina: That's a pity.
Boy: Why, are there no cards on the boat?
Christina: Three are missing and one is missing.
Andrei was playing around, grabbing a long strip of crackers and sprinkling it on the table like a game stick. Then Xiaobai winged away one by one, without touching any of the others.
Kristina walked back to the table with a tray, took a game stick from the shelf and handed it to Andrea.
Christina: You play really well, right?
Andrea toasted again, everyone drinking. Kristina moved away the food and freed up the table to play the game stick. Andrea threw sticks, and the sticks were scattered on the table and mixed together. He took a pipe from his coat pocket and lighted the pipe while talking to the young man. Christina sat down between them.
Andrei: Come on, you start.
Boy: I have never played this.
Andrei: This is called a game stick. A game that sailors love to make.
Young man: Please start.
Andrei: You can take the lead, Christina.
Christina: You take the lead.
Andrei: Why did you push around like this. One round once per person.
Kristina: Whoever touches another stick will punish one thing.
Young man: You mean you are not allowed to touch anything else, right?
Andrei: Yes.
Kristina was in the foreground. She put on her glasses and carefully removed a stick, leaving the pile of game sticks motionless. Then came Andrei, and then it was the boy's turn, and the two successfully took out a game stick each.
Boy: It's easy.
In the second round, Kristina moved one stick but knocked the other two.
Boy: Look, you moved it!
Andrei: Yes, yes.
Young man: Fine.
Christina took off a slipper and placed it on the table in front of the young man.
Boy: Thank you.
The broadcast continued, and the voice of the narrator became more hoarse.
The young man on the screen, with a slippers and a game stick on the table in front of him. He gathered up the stick and threw it on the table again. The game starts over. The hands of Andrei and Christina entered the screen one by one, taking out the sticks scattered on the side. The piles of sticks weren't touched for a while, and all three of them were engrossed in the game. The boy lost when it reached the fourth round. He took the trousers that were about to dry in the shade from a nail, and pulled out the belt.
Shots of Andrey and Krzystina, the young man puts the belt next to the slippers in the foreground.
Andrei: It's your turn, Christina.
Christina put away the stick and threw it on the table again.
Boy: It's me now.
Andrei: The feeling of relying on your hands.
Young man: By the way, it's by feeling.
As soon as the young man touched his hands, he touched piles of sticks. He took out the folding knife, turned around and threw the opened knife out. The tip of the knife pierced into a small cutting board hung above the small stove at the entrance of the cabin, but the poked part was the corner below the cutting board.
Andrei: What is this?
Boy: The penalty I handed over.
Andrei reached out and took the folding knife from the cutting board. He walked back to the small table and followed the camera. He leaned back, preparing to throw his hands over his shoulders, but he touched an open door of the small closet. He paused, closed the cupboard door, and threw the knife out. The knife was poking impartially in the center of the cutting board.
The young man jumped up, walked to the cutting board and pulled out the knife and returned to the table. He threw the knife out again, this time slightly better than last time, but hadn't pierced the center of the cutting board yet. Andrei laughed.
Kristina picked up the two penalties on the table and hid them under the table.
Kristina: How can I redeem this penalty in my hand?
Andrei: Being a captain is better than a crew, what do you think?
Kristina (to the young man): How can I redeem this fine item in my hand?
Young man: Let her sing a song.
A shot of the three people at the table. Kristina raised the slippers in her hand.
Andrei: Don't pretend to be unhappy... Let him open his eyes with the history of music you have learned, Krisia...
Kristina concealed her displeasure and interrupted him.
Christina: What do you want me to sing?
Boy: Just sing the song you keep humming.
Christina (after humming a few notes): Is it this song?
The young man nodded, but Andrei interjected impatiently.
Andrei: Don't sing this song!
Christina: This is what he ordered. The captain has no right to interfere with the repertoire.
There was a tumultuous voice on the radio, and at this moment the voice of an informant sounded.
Narrator: This game was an upset. Morik was unexpectedly defeated by the Turks...
The guy in the foreground turned off the radio.
Andrei: Hey, wait a minute!
He unscrewed the radio again.
Narrator: It's a shame that Morik was defeated, but...
Andrei took out the earplugs and plugged them in, put the other end in the ear, and said to his wife.
Andrei: You sing yours.
Christina: You have to listen to me.
Andrei: Don't listen, you sing yours.
Christina: Then I won't sing, please listen to it.
Andrei: Sing it.
Christina took off her glasses and hummed the song again. She broke off all at once, and laughed so hard that she lowered her head and put her forehead on the table.
Christina: No, no. I can't sing.
The shot of Christina and the guy laughing.
Young man: Come on, please sing it.
Christina settled down and began to sing. The boy looked at her, and she stopped singing while she was singing.
Christina: I forgot the words.
Just as the young man was about to say something, he was interrupted by Andréi wearing headphones.
Boy: This song...
Andrei (voice-over): This show is boring.
In the foreground, Christina put on the slippers she had redeemed. Andrei is pouring wine. The boy was about to say something again, and was interrupted by Andrei again.
Boy: But this song...
Andrei: Who on earth defeated Morik?
The young man took out his belt from under the table and held it in his hand.
Young man: How can I redeem this fine object in my hand?
Christina: Please recite a poem.
Christina in the foreground looked at the young man. He put his belt back on the table and waved away a mosquito that kept hovering above his head.
Boy: I recite "a mosquito buzzing in my ear. Is that you, mother?" I only remember a few paragraphs.
He picked up the wine glass on the table, Christina also picked up the wine glass. After a while, Andrey's hand entered the screen and picked up the third cup. Three people drink together.
Andrei: How could Morik knock people to the ground?
The young man thought for a while and began to recite. He often stopped to correct.
Young man: "Night! The light of the oil lamp is dim at midnight."
Andrei (takes a quick glance at the lamp): What's wrong?
Young man: "A mosquito is buzzing in my ear. Is that you, my mother in heaven? Like countless stars illuminating the sky, like white sails on a lake, like waves on the bank of a river. Yes. Is your hand sprinkling cosmic dust on my manuscript?” (Andrei’s hand reaches into the screen and fills everyone with brandy) “Maybe you are at noon, it’s a bee in the golden August When is the dance?" (He pauses, and jokingly raises his hand to imitate the pretentious speaker) "Yesterday, I found a hairpin in the reed. Is that yours?" Hey, grabbed it.
His hand was copied from a high place, and he slapped a mosquito to death. The young man is in the foreground, Andrei and Christina are in the background. Christina returned the belt to the boy.
Andrei: Good, good. Your memory is too good.
Christina: You can remove the earplugs.
Andrea nonchalantly pushed the radio away and started playing the game stick again. The young man hung the belt around his neck, leaned on the sleeping bunk, and painted. With a pipe in his mouth, Andrei skillfully picked out the game sticks.
Andrei: Look, this game has to be played like this. I used to know someone who was also good at this... he was a genius of game sticks... (he leaned over to look at the pile of game sticks) his name was Zakisio Maznar. He has a big ship—60 yards high sails. He is a good man and has a certificate of a senior captain. It was actually a fake certificate, which was only found out later. He is a good person anyway. He often said: "The game stick is not just a shaved wooden stick, but a creature."... (He glances at Kristina, and suddenly stops talking) What's the matter?
Christina's face was calm and slightly sarcasm.
Christina: I didn't say a word.
Andrei (outside the picture): He didn't hear what I said.
Christina: I fell asleep.
Andrei (outside the picture): Asleep? He must be exhausted.
The young man leaned on the corner of the sleeping bunk and fell asleep.
Christina: He might have spent the night in the woods yesterday.
Andrei (outside the picture): He said he hit the road early in the morning.
The camera pulls away. Christina removed an alarm clock from the shelf and started winding it. Andrei's arm stretched into the frame.
Christina: What are you doing with him?
Andrei (outside the painting): Is he pretending to be asleep? Hey! Hey!
Christina: What time is the alarm clock?
Andrei (outside the picture): 5 points. Is he really asleep?
Christina: It's too late at 5 o'clock.
Andrei (outside the painting): In time. The meeting is only at 9 o'clock.
Christina put down the alarm clock and stood up.
Taking pictures of the interior of the cabin from the hatch, the young man fell asleep in a sleeping bunk. Andrei lay down on another sleeping bunk. Christina put a blanket on the young man, handed it to Andrea, then untied her bathrobe and blew out the light.
night. The yacht is anchored in the reeds in the distance. The loud frogs crowed one after another. Christina came to the deck, sat down under the mast, and lit a cigarette. Close shot of Christina taking a deep puff of cigarette. There was a sound of footsteps, and the young man came out of the cabin and walked in front of her. Christina didn't look at him, but went on smoking. She is wearing a thick pullover and trousers. The young man walked across the deck to the bow in trousers and shirt.
They started talking. Christina was still sitting under the mast, and the young man was standing on the bow, his head out of the frame.
Young man (outside the picture): I heard you coming out.
Christina: Didn't you fall asleep?
Young man (sit down): I can't sleep well.
Christina: I can't sleep.
The young man stood up again and walked to Christina, and the camcorder followed. He sat down, the place where he was sitting was just framed into the picture.
Boy: It's so stuffy.
Christina: It's still so stuffy after it rains.
Boy: When shall we pick up the anchor?
Kristina: We have to change the halyard...
boy:...you have to scoop up water...
Kristina: You go to sleep for a while.
Boy: Shall I scoop water now?
A panoramic view of the yacht among the reeds, and the black silhouettes of the young man and Christina.
In the dimly lit cabin, Andrei was still slee
