"Beauty and the Beast" 1946 Edition --- the castle is the highlight

The design of this old castle of the Beast is really exquisite, exquisite and weird. The arms holding torches on the walls and the slowly turning heads reflect the beauty of European sculptures and the horror of the old castle. Although there are not many shots, considering the work from 1946 at this time, this design is already amazing. After that, Disney produced the animated version of "Beauty and the Beast" in 1991. Many of the designs in the castle obviously borrowed from this 46-year-old movie. For this, we should also be admired-pioneers are always more admirable.
It is a pity that apart from the old castle, the other parts of the movie are really not my favorite style. This kind of stage-like movie is still in the form of singing and speaking, which always makes me feel like an opera + Shakespeare, and it seems that the performance is not very natural. The story between Beauty and the Beast is relatively simple. Although this is a familiar story, it still needs a moving narration to impress the audience. This is the ultimate goal of a love movie! I feel that the love part of this film is too flat and straightforward, which is a pity for the movie.
