"Unmanned Pilot" is the name of the movie and the name of the band in the movie. To some extent, it is a metaphor for the whole story. The movie tells the story of Sam, an executive of an advertising agency, lives with his son after the divorce. The son is an ordinary college student who loves music. One day, Sam had a big business talk and invited his son to celebrate. As a result, there was a shooting at his school and his son died in this accident. Sad Sam quit his job and lived alone on the ferry. One day, while sorting out his son’s belongings, he overheard a song written by his son. He was disappointed to learn how to play the guitar and sing his son’s songs. One night when I performed a song in a bar, Quentin, a waiter in a dessert shop, heard it and was shocked. Quentin is a very musically talented young man. He thought it was a song written by Sam, so he insisted on cooperating with Sam's request. Sam, who has been hiding in his own world, was very cold at first, and then overheard Quentin playing the guitar to sing that song. He finally got rid of his guard and decided to cooperate with him. What surprised them both was that their songs were very popular, and they gradually became local celebrities, and were invited by major music festivals. So he didn’t want to work with Quentin at first, so his son’s girlfriend would blame him for "my life was ruined by you and your son", so Quentin learned that all the band’s songs were made by the shooter. Will resolutely sever contact with Sam... But as a father, Sam is not Sinful, but he has to bear the strange eyes and judgments of the world. When they met his ex-wife in his son’s graveyard, the two had a quarrel. Sam said, “Is it my fault? Your fault? Or his fault? Even though the son had committed a great sin, Sam, the father, still could not regard his son as an evil criminal. Quentin is also as talented as his son, but also very introverted and shy. After the two broke apart, Sam ran to the musical instrument store and bought Quentin's most wanted expensive guitar for him, encouraging him not to give up his dreams because of himself. Sam returned to his son's school and saw the name of the person who died in the shooting was engraved on the stone tablet. He stroked the stone tablet and cried bitterly. This is the only time Sam in the whole movie cried bitterly. He had never accepted the news of his son's departure before, and he also subconsciously refused to accept the fact that his son was a murderer. He felt the name on the stone tablet and wept bitterly, not only to confess to the dead, but also to miss his son the most. When he leaned on the stone tablet and said, "But, this is my child," he was just a particularly helpless father. Sam eventually gave his son’s crude tapes to his ex-wife, and told the ex-wife who already had a new child: “I hope my brother will know more about his brother in the future than just the news in the news.” At the end of the film, Sam is alone. He returned to the small bar and told the audience before the performance: "My son is josh. He killed 6 people in the shooting a few years ago. He wrote the following song." How could a young man with such a delicate heart become a criminal? Sometimes just a difference in thought can cause irreparable mistakes. His son’s crimes ruined Sam’s good life, but his son’s music eventually saved Sam’s soul. From the standpoint of the bystander, Sam's son is unforgivable and he is very sinful. But from the perspective of a father, he does not shirk his crimes, and he can bear all the accusations and pain, but he cannot be as indifferent as others. Treat your son. Because this is my child. The music in the film is very good, and I have been collecting music-related movies. Because I am also going to write a story like this, a story with music and true feelings.
