The greatest virtue is emotional control

I bumped into Chandler yesterday and asked why I haven't written for a long time. First, there is no time, and second, there is no mood. The days are so full of wolves that they are basically caught up in trivial matters, and want to lie down a little bit easier. I don’t have time to watch movies, I see fewer good movies, and I have less urge to write something.

The only movie that has been made twice in the past six months is Jean Pierre Gennet’s "Journey of Young Spaviy". Compared with the classic "Angels Love the Beauty", this little fresh story made by the director is a bit looser, I want to say Huanxiu’s attitude is also a little sophisticated, but it still does not hinder the high-level and decent of the movie-telling a sad and sad story, no one gobbles up tears, instead of all kinds of fun, humor and beauty, just in the rain In the refreshment of the sky, I felt the ruthlessness of the previous storm.

"Young Spicer" refers to the Montana farm teenager TS Spicer. One day he received a call from Smithsonian College and was told that he had been invited to Washington to receive the Baird Prize for the World Science Award for his invention of perpetual motion machines. TS, who lacks attention and even doubts about his parents' love, secretly climbed onto the freight train and embarked on a journey across the United States alone. The film is based on TS's adventure along the way, and the climax is the speech when receiving the award. It was only at this moment that the drama of "the death of the twin brother Layton" was revealed. The film seems to be telling the story of rebellion and leaving home, but it is actually the theme of returning home warmly.

Even if the most thorough spoiler is done, it will not detract from the "good-looking" of the movie. First of all, the sound and picture of the movie can withstand the spoiler. The director who was born in a commercial made the picture beautiful. Every frame in the whole movie is a postcard, especially the scene when TS just jumped on the train, with the humorous soundtrack in the movie. Everything is beautiful. Vertigo: The red train travels through the green valley, and the gradual cyan color is full of mountains and plains. The little actor's yellow jacket is particularly leaping. Mr. Jean seems to want to tell us that Western films can be so French and fresh without losing the original vastness and depth. With his careful arrangement, even the denim shirts are also playful and elegant.

In addition to the extraordinary enjoyment brought by the audiovisual, the text of the lines of "Young Spyway" is also very elegant, using simple and direct children's language to tell the content of literary and artistic sentiment, mixed with a little bit of cold scientific terms, this is simply a killer weapon : For example, "a depression is enveloping me and lingering. The touring car faces the back of the train, so it gives me a kind of depression of driving in the opposite direction." Another example: "The special thing about water drops is that they can always find the least resistance. For human beings, the situation is just the opposite." These words are contrived by adults as lines, but if they are spoken by a freckled little Frankenstein, any hypocrisy can be forgiven.

To me, TS’s famous aphorisms are most commonly used. One is "The definition of a fool is a person who turns something that he doesn't understand into a big joke", and the other is TS before the start of the award speech. Laughing at the adults who swarmed with fake smiles: "The difference between a fake smile and a real smile is that not only the zygomatic muscles but also the muscles around the eyes contract during a fake smile. Tonight, the smiles are all around the eyes— Zygomatic bow". After watching this movie, I can always find the opportunity to use these two lines to alert myself: Hey, you have become a fool with a zygomatic smile around the eyes again.

Of course, the most moving part of the film comes from the "self-salvation" of TS in the story, the shadow of the young boy’s heart, including the self-blame of "If it weren’t for me, Layton would never have died", but also "Even if it was invented forever." Motivation, I can't become the cowboy my dad wants me to be.” In my opinion, the latter may be even stronger.

Regarding the sensitivity of adolescents, I think one thing is very interesting. Although adults have passed through childhood, when they become adults, they are always "selectively blind" to children's IQ and emotions, always because of some common sense of children. The level of ignorance, or the obedient and obedient behavior that has to be done, ignores their perception and understanding. This funny tacit understanding of "pretending to not know, thinking that the children really don’t know" will turn anyone into a God’s perspective. Later, you will see clearly.

Dealing with such a heavy subject as "The Pain of Losing a Child, Family Reconstruction", "Spavey Young" is the most important thing I have ever seen, except for TS's extreme way of leaving home, father, mother, sister and even the pet dog, in the family Everyone in is actually using a strong and twisted way to get used to the huge changes in life. This way of character setting and telling stories is quite consistent in three perspectives: the greatest virtue of an adult is the control of emotions, and the self-esteem to treat sadness appropriately is the meaning of enlightenment.

There are actually several crying points in "Young Spyway", but before every emotional high point comes, the director will either use big scenes, or use sneer jokes, or use horribly beautiful shots to cover up, as if you haven’t yet. Moved to tears, the director himself felt embarrassed. Speaking of it, the older I get, the more I can't stand crying. Most of the crying is for others to see. Even if there are no outsiders alone in tears, it is crying to the other me in the body. It's like crying, the guilt is gone, the grievance is gone, and the life can be refreshed.

I think the reason for tantrums is similar. First of all, repeated venting of any feelings will dilute and depreciate; second, it is very dangerous, it does not help and deceives itself, and over time, it will become a cheap habit.

For me, the three views are beautiful, interesting, and fit, and this kind of movie is good.
