Say something I want to say, heaven really exists.

The introduction says, “God’s actions are far beyond human control and understanding.” I am a believer. For me, part of my curiosity in watching this film arouses my curiosity. Then this film brings me nothing. It was just to satisfy my curiosity, but to inspire, especially when the messenger in white (I believe it was Jesus) greeted Colton and talked to him, and the last picture of Jesus was a real inspiration.

As Wallace said, this film is not just a preaching, and if we compare this movie with American Hollywood blockbusters, in terms of the special effects used in the film and the twists and turns of the story, Hollywood blockbusters may be far better than this. The movie is popular. So I also understand that a friend said, "I don't want to watch the feature film after seeing the trailer." But we must know that Wallace did not shoot this film for the purpose of preaching, not for the purpose of the box office. This film is based on a true story, the true experience of a priest's son. I also believe that the director will not make too many changes to the true story to increase the excitement of the story, because a Christian must never give false testimony, and definitely not tell a false story in order to attract more audiences. So for me, the single narrative method in this film is understandable, because this film is adapted from a real story, not a fabricated Hollywood blockbuster.

Director Wallace said, "God's actions are far beyond human control and understanding." God is in a completely different space from ours. We feel incomprehensible and even unbelievable for many of the things He did. Therefore, we often use "miracle" to describe something that is basically impossible to us but does happen. Things that happened. I think everyone is familiar with the "Super Mario" (or Super Mario) super mario in the Cassidy game console. A preacher said that just like the protagonist Super Mario in a 2D game, he doesn’t understand the stereoscopic 3D world. In this era, we cannot understand God's actions in another dimension. So in many things, when we can’t see it, when we can’t understand it, when we can’t see the basic logic, when we can’t see the facts, we don’t believe it, we just question it boldly, we say he doesn’t Exist, we even slander. Colton’s father, Pastor Todd, said at the end: "I believe that God wants me to be a pastor. Does he insist that I have the same views as others? Of course not." It is precisely because the Creator created different you and me. It is precisely because he has different plans for each of us that we have different ideas, and it is precisely because of different ideas that we will do different things, so we (even some Christians) I would question Colton’s story, "Is there a paradise?"

I absolutely believe that people with different understandings have different thoughts after watching this film. Some people were moved, some sneered, and some said this film was "brainwashed." Someone is motivated. But in fact, it doesn't matter. There are no two people who are exactly the same in this world, nor do they have exactly the same ideas. Does God insist that you and I agree? of course not. After watching this film, I was moved and encouraged at the same time. I also firmly believed in the truth I usually learned in the church: God has a different plan for everyone, and only he knows each of us thoroughly. What have been experienced. Since I don't understand what other people have experienced, then I don't want to judge others, but also treat them with tolerance.

Okay, what I want to say after finishing talking, I will talk more about my own thoughts rather than the film itself. I hope everyone will look at this film with a tolerant heart. I also hope that I can read the original work in the future. Five-star recommendation!

Haven't we already had a glimpse of Heaven and so often chosen the Hell of hate and fear?" --- Todd Purbo

  • Todd Burpo: What if you have an experience so far beyond your own experience, it's irrational. What then?

  • Sonja Burpo: Honey, you know you should have turned the other cheek, though, right?

Cassie Burpo: I did turn his other cheek. When I hit him.

Colton Burpo: Is Cassie going to get a spanking.

Todd Burpo: Heck, no. I'm going to teach her how to hit without hurting her knuckles.
