But we must know that Wallace did not shoot this film for the purpose of preaching, not for the purpose of the box office. This film is based on a true story, the true experience of a priest's son. I also believe that the director will not make too many changes to the true story to increase the excitement of the story, because a Christian must never give false testimony, and definitely not tell a false story in order to attract more audiences. So for me, the single narrative method in this film is understandable, because this film is adapted from a real story, not a fabricated Hollywood blockbuster.
Director Wallace said, "God's actions are far beyond human control and understanding." God is in a completely different space from ours. We feel incomprehensible and even unbelievable for many of the things He did. Therefore, we often use "miracle" to describe something that is basically impossible to us but does happen.
