There are now three "Indian Superman" series, namely [Indian Superman] (2003), [Indian Superman] (2006) and this [Indian Superman III] (yes, there is no [Indian Superman II]). [India's Superman Prequel] is actually an Indian copy of [ET], telling the source of the super powers of the Mehra family. Without the science fiction packaging, [Indian Superman] most of the time is more like a [Man Ape Tarzan], a love story between a country boy and an urban girl. Even if the evil Dr. Aya is defeated at the end, he is still out of personal grievances in order to understand and save his father. The third part is a mixture of [Superman] and [X-Men]. The villain Carl is still Doctor Evil, and several mutants under them. They drop deadly viruses and sell exclusive antibodies to make huge profits.
[Print III] finally got on the right track. This time Chris is closer to a superhero in the traditional sense. Here Chris finally has a base in Mumbai and a guardian group. He is a good husband and a good son at home. He tried his life for the virus vaccine outside, and spread the truth like "the greater the ability, the greater the responsibility" to the citizens. "Whoever prevents disasters and spreads happiness is Chris." However, after seeing a lot of Batman with childhood shadow, Superman chasing the wind and waves, and self-exile, now I see an upright, healthy and sunny Gao Daquan, which is somewhat unaccustomed.
The global box office of the film is 49 million U.S. dollars, ranking third in the total box office of Indian films, second only to [Phantom Cars III] and [Chennai Express]. It seems that Indian audiences are still very disappointed with this film. Of course, you can also imagine some audiences complaining about the special effects of this movie. To be optimistic, [India III] has improved a lot. Seven years ago, [Indian Superman] was still at the level of the 86 version of "Journey to the West". The background was blurred, and Chris was moved slowly in slow motion. It seemed to convince the audience that he was resolved within a second or two. Seven guards were ordered. However, by the end of [Indian Superman III], the Mumbai battle between Chris and Carl has reached the level of a copycat version of [Superman: Man of Steel]. Only compared to [Bollywood Robot Love] and [Super Century God of War], the special effects of [Print III] are still a bit inferior.
After reading [Print III], let us look forward to our [Terracotta Warriors] even more.
