The advantage of the story is that it is more fascinating. At first, I thought it would be a group of bad guys committing crimes. The end result is that the protagonist is a good person, and the group in the house is all bad guys. But in the end, I did tell the reason for the story. Clear, there is no suspense, the main line logic can get full marks.
As for why the old woman scolded the protagonist, I think this probably means that the protagonist has conducted cruel biological experiments on the sick in order to find an antidote. The old woman feels that her daughter has been destroyed, so she hates the protagonist.
Speaking of the old woman, why did the car that transported the antidote to the protagonist broke down there? Was it killed by the old woman? Or did the old woman steal gasoline there? I didn't read that paragraph too carefully.
Was the little boy who was thrown into the pit last with the old woman? Didn't they run away?
The protagonist woke up for the second time with a gun in his hand in the pit. I was still wondering if he couldn't think about it and collapsed himself. In that case, the ending would have the level of "Mist".
"No survivor." What this said, the world is like this, what else needs to be covered up?
