Gatsby is heartbreaking, infatuated people will always lose miserably. No hesitating to give his life is just being tricked, kind Gatsby. It seems that ideal love can only be fornication, fair and safe. But I still admire Gatsby, not everyone has a lover who can make him omnipotent. If I were Daisy, I would commit suicide to accompany Gatsby. Wouldn't the wealthy life be bored? The repairman boss is willing to show affection for the derailed wife, let alone the truth.

Although the film as a whole is different from the original, the overall scene is the most grand version of the previous versions, and it restores the carnival dance of the jazz age better. Coppola's adaptation injects analysis of new eras and new concepts. On the basis of retaining the original work's romantic criticism of the mainstream social system, it looks at American society in the 1930s from a calm and objective perspective, and does not fall into ordinary romance films. It is an example of a relatively successful adaptation of a literary masterpiece

The Great Gatsby quotes

In his enchanted gardens, men and girls came and went like moths, among the whispering and the champagne and the stars. I believe that few people were actually invited to these parties. They just went. They got into automobiles that bore them out to Long Island, and somehow they ended up at Gatsby's door. Come for the party with a simplicity of heart that was it's own ticket of admission.

  • Tom Buchanan: That dog's a bitch!
