This liking stems from my strong interest in British history since the 15th century, and the War of the Roses is one of them. This war has a romantic name. It is actually the cruelest civil war in British history. I personally feel that it even surpassed the later British Revolution. The old aristocracy in England almost killed each other, and the British revolution only needed to kill a king and his few loyal loyalties. There was no need for France to let the guillotine spin in a short period of time.
Since the 19th century, Britain has given the impression of a country of gentlemen, but its strength is shaped by a series of bloody history, the cannibalism of the nobles in the War of the Roses, the cannibalism of sheep in the enclosure movement, and the slaying of kings in Britain. In the revolution, people were almost killed and tired of revenge. Everyone sat down and compromised to expand abroad. The British Empire began with this civil war in the second half of the 15th century.
So, no matter what's wrong with this show, I actually want to watch it.
