Values are like the soul of a movie, in which you can see the connotation of the director and even the entire cultural background behind him.
I think the values are more correct, "Titanic". After Jack's death, Rose did not immerse herself in the sadness of the death of her lover. Instead, she opened up a wonderful life. She did not dare to do it before but wanted to do it. Things, such as riding horses, such as independent living. The power of love is to make people grow, not to pull people down. So I think its values are commendable.
Recently, I watched a TV series "Beijing Love Story" with serious deviations in values. I don't know how many people gave it their own words of praise. Fortunately, although I am short-sighted, I still like to watch it with my own eyes. The general design of the plot is the story of three good friends with different identities. After graduating from university, they experienced love stories in Beijing, working and living. Cheng Feng is a rich second-generation lazy and delicious, picking up girls all day long. As a man from the countryside, Shi Xiaomeng can be called a poor second generation. He started from scratch and worked hard just to have a 38-square-meter nest with his childhood sweetheart.
You know, drama has a strong symbolic and symbolic meaning. The story advances, and values have been greatly confused: the
first and second generations of the rich seize love from others, and insist on true love. Although love transcends gender and species nowadays, the unchanging point is that "gentlemen do not seize others." If you betray your "good brother" and hurt your friend’s lover for the sake of this love", "friends’ wives must not be deceived", such love is selfish and narrow, and this person is not worthy of being good. Brother's. But the end result is that the rich second-generation and poor second-generation girlfriends are together. (Remember the symbolism of drama!) This is one of the deviations in values.
2. The poor second generation used all means to abandon their girlfriends and friendships for profit. No matter what the development of the plot is, what audience friends remember is the end of the play. This has caused many directors to be shoddy and rigid in the development of the plot. This is especially true in this play. I can't see any love or consideration for Shi Xiaomeng in the girl's eyes. A woman's instinct tells me that this is not true love. This is not the case with boy and girl friends who have been in a long-distance relationship for more than ten years. Their love is not so broken. Because they are far apart, they are good at communicating and know what the other person thinks, instead of asking if Yaya doesn't understand Shi Xiaomeng's pressure in the plot, so the plot arrangement is really unreasonable. The chaos of values is based on the chaotic plot design: Shi Xiaomeng originally fought for a 38-square-meter house. Family and love were the driving force of his previous struggle, but as soon as he was framed and threatened, he immediately gave up. For everything that he has struggled for before, the second half of the whole play tries to portray Shi Xiaomeng as a villain who pursues profit by unscrupulous means, and makes him betray his relatives. I don't know what the director's intention is. This makes me a little bit painful, if you walk for a long time, but forget that you are walking to the east, turn to the west at will, and walk happily. What a numb life this is! A drama here tells you that this is reality. The winner is always the rich second generation who is kind and righteous and understands true love, and the poor second generation is always struggling in reality and being forced by money to betray their lovers and friends. What a mess of values!
All of the above are the values of love. The main emotion of "Kung Fu Flies" is also love. Where is the confusion of its values manifested?
Love turns to revenge.
I don’t know much about Indian culture, but I can see the strong belief in "Karma" in the play, and it is connected with the cultural point of Tantric appearing in it. I guess it has specific Indian cultural factors, and I look forward to it even more. Answers from friends who know how to do it.
But revenge, isn't it too harsh? The little fly in the incarnation of Nani murdered Sudeep at all possible means, which is almost the same as Sudeep's murder of him. In any case, I feel that the name of revenge is improper. In our culture, there are also vendettas, but they are not for oneself to kill, but for some kind of righteousness, such as because of the hatred of the country and the family, or for the sake of their benefactor, such as Jing Ke assassinating Qin. We won't feel wrong with this kind of vendetta, but we will feel that it is really touching and heroic. Otherwise, it won't work.
And what about this show? Because Sudip killed Nani, Nani was about to kill him. For this reason, there seems to be nothing particularly wrong. When the law is invalid and the underworld is rampant, you are not allowed to fight back against the person who violated you? How many times do you have to reply after being scolded, let alone being killed. So there is nothing wrong with it.
But the mistake was wrong, he pulled his beloved one on. Lover is to make people good, not to make them bad. When Bindu asked Nani Little Fly who killed him, he told Bindu that it was Sudip. Bindu looked horrified and asked what to do. Nani Little Fly actually told her to kill Sudeep.
Don't underestimate this detail. Imagine that if Bindu himself said that in order to avenge Nani and prevent Sudip from invading him, he asked Nani Little Fly to murder Sudip with him, then what? As long as Sudip is placed in a position of inhumanity and cruelty, and Nanibindu is forced to fight back helplessly in order to survive, the reason for revenge is very sufficient and justified. Unfortunately, the director made a wrong move.
The confusion of values here is not about killing, but about love. As mentioned above, true love leads people upwards, just like Jack's influence on Rose. But here, Nani turned Bindu from a kind and innocent girl to a cruel and bloody murderer. Maybe some viewers disagree with my point of view, insisting that Sudip is too cruel and Bindu is innocent. When judging something, don't look at what the parties said, but look at what they did. In fact, Bindu has indeed become a cruel and bloody murderer. This kind of love is too scary.
It's not so much that the bloody images in the play frightens me, it's that the horrible values in it make me creepy.
