Wong Kar-wai walks the tightrope for love

"The Grand Master" is a luxury in the movie.

In fact, I'm really afraid of the kind of movies that have become popular as soon as they come up. Before "The Grand Master" came out, I expected that there are definitely as many people who like and don't like it. Films like "In the Mood for Love", "Happy Together" and "2046" are now in movie theaters, and not many people will be happy to start all over again. See the end. Since it is a luxury, it will certainly not satisfy the tastes of all audiences. His movies are destined to two extremes, the good is regarded as art, the bad is that the interlayer yarn is not clear enough to provoke it.
"Blueberry Night" has not been screened in China, so this is the first time I have watched Wong Kar Wai's movie on the big screen.
I was just in my freshman year when the film was filmed, and I am now graduating. I thought I couldn't see it until I graduated from university, but I didn't expect it to be released fortunately. My world immediately became more miraculous and unspeakable.
Before the premiere, I said to myself countless times that the more such a movie, the more calm you have to be, with less expectation, and restore yourself to an ordinary audience. But when the names of "Leung Chaowei", "Zhang Ziyi" and "Wang Jiawei" appeared on the big screen, I admitted that I really couldn't help it, and I was as excited as drinking a glass of ancient mysterious Ganges water.
Watching Wong Kar-wai's movies can never be "hearty", but always can only be "infinite aftertaste".
If you have to make a simple generalization (although you know that Wong Kar-wai's movie cannot be generalized like a certain God of Wealth that is divided into two parts in black and white), a master of generation = Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon + Mood for Love. Throughout the movie, I have traveled countless times in the scenes of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and In the Mood for Love.
The last thing Wong Kar-wai's movie has to worry about is the picture. Every textbook-level lens can be directly taken as a desktop screenshot. "The Great Master" is not about Ye Wen, but about the martial arts pattern and spirit of the martial arts people of that era. The clips previously broadcast in Cannes only appeared in the feature film for a short period of time, and even the trailers had a lot of shots missing.
The first scene of Ip Man and Gongji was amazing. Such meticulous martial arts scenes can really fly to Tokyo, Paris, Milan, and New York in an instant to make passerby shut up and amazed. The scene of Zhang Jin and Zhang Ziyi at the train station is even comparable to the scene of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" in Bamboo Forest in my heart.

Wang Jiawei, you know

Xiaozhang Gong Er best = Yujiaolong + Jasmine blooming. Only Li An and Wang Jiawei can dig out the shining points of Zhang Ziyi's body and put it to the greatest extent. I have to say that Gong Ruomei is so brilliant this time, Zhang Ziyi also gave her performance that I think is the highest level since her debut.
Zhang Ziyi, a character like Yu Jiaolong, can be easily picked up, but after ten years, she can interpret it more warmly-life experience outside of the movie can be reflected in the lens, and this movie also proves this. .
In the past three years, Zhang Ziyi's bad luck and all kinds of bad things... and all of this has been seen in Gong Ruomei's body. She must have been holding a breath when she was acting in the movie. Some people said at the beginning that Zhang Ziyi wanted to boycott "The Grand Master", but now whether you are convinced or not, I can tell you in the name of Linlin that this Chinese-speaking actress can't be played by someone else. Such Gong Er, I am afraid she will be difficult to surpass in her life.
I dare not say whether a grandmaster can bring Zhang Ziyi back to the top, but it is definitely her return and counterattack. If "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" allowed Zhang Yi to stand for ten years, then "The Great Master" would definitely allow her to eat for three or five years without a problem.

Weizai, you are really getting more and more tasteful. There

shouldn't be anyone in the world questioning Weizai's acting skills. I am very relieved of any of his movies. And I really love Weizai more and more, all kinds of cute and dull at the press conference. The role of Ye Wen is difficult to play, not only because of the need to practice martial arts, but more importantly, compared to Gong Er, this character line appears a little weaker, but Wei Zi has played Ye Wen to his best. After all, he and Wang Jiawei know each other too deeply.
I read reports that he broke his arm in order to practice Wing Chun, which really hurts. Looking at the deep and shallow wrinkles on his face, I was also thankful that Grandmaster had finally finished the filming, and maybe I won't see Tony Leung's version of Ye Wen a few years later.

Zhang Zhenxiao, Shenyang, Zhao Benshan, you are all great artists

. The actor I fell in love with watching "The Great Master" was Zhang Zhen, and the one who made me know Zhao Benshan again.
Zhang Zhen has practiced octochi for three years, but in the end only two fights are left. The main line of the characters is only vague, which is a pity. But a good meal is not afraid of late, there are not many good shows, Zhang Zhen is very brilliant. As for Xiao Shenyang, although there are too many people waiting to see him, he still has to say to him: "Wake up, you are a great artist!" The only short play can be regarded as the rhythm of the whole film. Mei Qiao is also beautiful and exaggerated.

There are a few lines that are most memorable:
all encounters in the world are reunions after a long absence.
Always remember, there will be reverberations.
It was my luck to meet you when I was most beautiful, but I have no time.
I chose to stay in my own years.
To say that there is no regrets in life is an angry word... If there is no regret in life, it should be so boring.

The music in the film uses "When the Lord Comes Back", "After the farewell tonight, when the Lord comes again". May wish to listen before going to see it.

Never advocate how high a movie is to be held or to give it such a meaning. A movie is a movie. Just like Xiao Zhang often said, "Every movie has its life." After so many years of preparation, more than 3 years of shooting, the release time has been pushed back and forth... these are all its lives. Whether it was Ye Wen's biography or Gong Er's legend, these were also his fate. Now I can only do not force it or keep it. To pretend to be a force, Director Wang's films are not used to earn the box office, let alone be measured by the box office. He loves movies too much. For myself, it is enough to have a movie like a master of the generation, which can be seductive and memorable from time to time. I hope that the master can perform well overseas.
In the current market, directors, actors and investors are all dancing on the tip of the needle. There are not many directors like Wong Kar-wai who love to walk the tightrope, and people like a certain God of Wealth should not hesitate to be sucked into Lin 13 without hesitation.

Tomorrow IMAX is in theaters, and I have to go to see it again, otherwise it's not enough.

(Well, I don’t know if Benzi is ignorant. Blueberry Night has actually been screened for $130 since it was cut in China!) After

watching the second time, I re-realized a lot of details. I don't know why I especially like Zhang Ziyi's section in the ancient temple, where the Buddha's shadow is mottled, and a sense of awe emerges spontaneously.

The Grandmaster quotes

  • Gong Er: I had considered a career in opera years ago, I had received training. I had thought about it a lot: me on stage performing, and you in the audience watching...

Ip Man: What if your performance had sold out?

Gong Er: [smiles] You flatter me. I would have reserved a seat specifically for you.

  • Ip Man: I have watched you perform in the opera of life. You have shown great timing and skill; however you never went beyond the role you played.

Gong Er: I had no idea I have such an ardent spectator.
