This was a touched movie. I am not familiar with the European history. Furthermore, I did not learn much about the religion history at that time. “Tragedy is moving because of the destruction of things is so good”. The movie tried to show an almost perfect person—Sir Thomas Moore. He was highly educated at that time. He was broad and profound. He was also agile and articulate. The movie depicted his virtue in many details: even if his servant Matthew had betrayed him he also reported with understanding and tolerance; The settings after sent servants, Moore promised to arrange for all positions after he fired them. His wife reminded him that it was hard to find positions for all of them, but Moore still insisted to do that. The night that he suffered from accused meet friends Duke Norfolk, always gentle Moore, who was always gentle, intentionally speak to him insolently, which made Norfolk break of relations between them. At last Moore got killed because of “betraying the king”. If such a perfect person cannot get long life, what on earth the world is?
As for the application in the public administration, I think it is important for the supervisor to be virtuous. A virtuous supervisor can influence the employees to act morally and correctly. It is vital to increase the productivity and impact of the organization. Furthermore, I think the supervisor should tolerate employees' different opinions. Sometimes the diverse environment and culture can make the productivity excellently and efficiently. It is wrong to stop employees express their own words. It is also bad for the organization to eliminate the diverse perspectives.
