This film was released in China in 1984. At that time, movie tickets were issued by units; movie theaters were still called Dongfeng, Hongqi, and Qianjin. I was still in elementary school at that time. In order to follow my mother to watch this movie, he lied and said that the homework was done. I regretted seeing the movie because I couldn't understand it at all. Of course, Haibian was unavoidable afterwards.
I remembered this movie because of a meal of Haibian.
Many years later, I relived the movie in the language laboratory of the university. This is a great movie. The loyal love of Oliver and Jennifer, the beautiful theme of the movie, the snow all over the floor, and the classic line "Love means never having to say you're sorry" all left me deep memories.
