Among the three girls, Margaret is more rational, Bernadette is wild, and Rose is gentle.
Margaret believed she could go out, and she was watching everything calmly. That's why she didn't run away when she had a chance. She slightly punished the beast with good looks, and finally when her brother picked her up, he rationally forced the mother to give in and make way for her.
In this high-pressure environment, people's choices are really hard to fathom. Margaret's hope was completely lost on the other two girls, their families completely abandoned them, and they could only rely on themselves.
Unexpectedly, it was so easy for them to leave, and they walked out swaggeringly. Perhaps it is only the inner fear that restrains oneself. Bernadette saw the two endings waiting for these women from the mentally retarded girl and the old woman. They either died of old age here, or were tortured into mental illness or headed for death.
The mentally handicapped girl pinned everything on that medal. With it, her life was no longer so painful, but Bernadette wanted to take away her only happiness, and she persuaded the old woman from behind To die early makes people feel the hatred in her heart.
In the middle of the film, the mentally handicapped woman repeatedly shouted dozens of times: "You are not the man of God". She awakened, so she had to die.
