The sin and singing of the soul

Seeing this movie accidentally, at first was fascinated by Frankie's unruly. The blue eyes are full of confidence and desire-God, where did the director find such a pair of charming eyes that are more brilliant than the summer ocean? And there is some curiosity: how should the story develop?

This kind of bad boy theme is the most difficult to grasp, either he appears as an anti-hero from the beginning, or he spares no effort to pave the way for the good and evil in his heart. However, no signs of this can be seen in the first half of the movie. Frankie seems to have fallen to the end, alcoholism, drug abuse, promiscuity, and reputation dizzy. He didn't even give a cent to the roadside beggar, which makes it hard to believe that angels will appear afterwards. However, the signs of bad luck are faintly obvious: the initial symptoms begin to develop, the wife's indifference, the dystocia of the album, and the persistence of "Panda". Everything is half-fiction and half-real, with a few comments from real DJs inserted from time to time. If these world-famous DJs add weight to the film, the more exciting part actually comes from Paul Kaye's interpretation of Frankie's role. He was lying on the sofa in the recording room for an interview on the radio, talking nonsense like a drunkard. When he was excited, he jumped up and beckoned to the fans outside. He asked loudly, "Do you love going to parties?" Then he screamed. ,“是的,我也爱party!”

他对录音不满意的时候,会冲进录音室对着鼓手怒吼:“要像揍你妹妹一样敲这玩意儿!”瞬间拖沓沉闷的鼓声获得了soul. In the MV, he plays a pirate, standing on the edge of a cliff staring deeply at the girl he caught. Frankie is not handsome, with rotten teeth and sunken eye sockets; he is easily angry and joyful, freeing up the passion of life at will. It is precisely because of this that when he failed to mix the sound for the first time and was thrown a bottle of mineral water by the audience, when he grabbed the doctor’s collar and said that he paid 2,000 yuan per hour for this treatment, in front of him It is especially heartbreaking when the false comfort to his wife and the tears in the blue eyes.

Not surprisingly, Frankie was completely deaf. If you lose your hearing, let alone being a DJ, you can't even mix things up in the music field. His wife instantly fell into the arms of others, his former friend and agent completely abandoned him, and fans quickly forgot him. Frankie escaped like a child, putting headphones on his ears to cover up the fact of deafness, drinking, taking drugs, and even trying witch doctors. I waited in front of the TV for the end of the movie, and the big print indicated "This is the wonderful and tragic life of Frankie Wild". But Frankie can always be surprising; like a rush of excitement from nonsense, he throws away the bomb tied to his head and throws himself into a new life. Fighting with the drug "panda"; meeting the angelic lip language teacher; using the ripples of the liquid in the wine glass, the rhythm of the flamenco dance is so beautiful. I like the natural harmony between him and the lip language teacher: the jumbled drums will not disturb the inner peace; even if the agent yells outside the window, they look at each other and laugh and add a cup of coffee. He still smiles brightly in front of the camera, but this time, he will protect his lover from harassment and rethink the meaning of making music. People always have contradictory sides. Although the agent who abandoned him in the past still regards him as a cash cow, he will also be angry at the reporter's unreasonable demands at the press conference. There is no better night show than the night he returned to the mixer. Everyone, whether they hate him or love him, is looking into the distance. When Frankie put his feet on the speaker, he seemed to feel not the beat of the music, but his own heartbeat.

The ending was very warm, Frankie and her beloved were gone. Thank the director for not making bad inspirational films or romantic dramas. He showed me the devil in a man—and an angel.
