The man who owes a beating

I understand, Comrade Kitano has been working hard to create all kinds of unbeatable characters. He has this hobby.
This movie is actually not too touching. The symbolic bridges inside are also pretty dull. Maybe it's numb to see how messy.
The only thing that worries me is that Kitano has not been beaten halfway through the movie, which makes me so unhappy. How can such an annoying man not be beaten? The Japanese are really civilized.
So I kept biting my head and watched, because I couldn't let it go, I was anxious.
Finally, at the side of the shrine, Kitano was beaten to the ground for pretending to be forceful again. I breathed a sigh of relief, and then I began to ponder the true meaning of this movie.

Excessive stylization damages the fluency of the narrative part, but instead creates a very peculiar blank effect that complements the grotesque and perverse characters. Hisaishi's soundtrack adds a lot to the film, and it is a very interesting and sincere work.
