At the beginning of the film, when Joe, as an adult, visited Simon's grave, he said that Simon had filled his heart with faith. Indeed, Simon has been a miracle from birth. Miraculously survived through the doctor's predictions of his death time and time again. He believes that God has arrangements for everyone. He marched step by step toward the unknown road. When the mission finally came, he calmly and courageously responded, saving all children's lives with the prestige of born children. Everything has been explained. His appearance is to give prestige to the children, and the death of Joe's mother allows Simon to help Joe find his biological father, and to practice holding his breath in the water for Simon to save the car. The preparation for life is destined and cannot be changed. Just as he was destined to only play BABY on the stage, only because he was the only one who got into the stables. Life is a big machine, and each of us is a part of it, fulfilling our own mission in our lifetime. The power of faith is to let us have a goal at all times, a notion that we will not give up when we encounter difficulties. Faith will create miracles, a miracle like Simon. He is the son of God born in a stable.
