The movie finally uses the word "freedom" to go through the entire process of escape. They have been fighting for freedom again, fighting against powerful evil forces, fighting against themselves, fighting against betrayers, whatever, for freedom.
Maybe this movie is a superfluous one for some people. Indeed, we have already guessed the ending, just because of the n long waited episodes at the end of the fourth season. But because of the long wait, those jailbreak fans will cherish these episodes so much, and this special edition, I think it is very necessary, it is like a program patch, to improve the lack of jailbreak A little emotional scene. Although Scofield and Sara did not get together in the end, they both won freedom in the end. This feeling of fighting for freedom and fighting for love and affection is worthy of praise from the majority of prison escape fans. To be honest, who doesn't want freedom?
Perhaps because the foreshadowing and ending have already been completed, this special edition cannot be changed at all for the director. The warmth really touched me, and it can be regarded as a touching and warm ending for the escape from beginning to end.
