Joseph Gordon-Levitt's unnatural acting

It's very attempting, when great actors like Diane Lane, Mickey Rourke, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Rosario Dawson can play together in this movie.
The movie is based on Elmore Leonard's novel with the same name, I don't know how the original story looks like, but I believe the screenplay is too simple too straight. or maybe by the end of the film its appeal still remains a mystery for Rourke's character black-bird?
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a good actor, but in this movie his acting seems for me very unnatural, I know he's trying to prove his brutal crazy criminal character, but that's just overdone.
I don't understand why the rate in IMDB is so high right now. I think it will go down.
My Rating: 5 /10
