I don't know why, the Chinese names of many movies are quite unreliable (not translated), such as this "WALKABOUT". I think of another movie "GERRY" that I have seen before, which was translated as "Rinny Goes in the Desert". Buy it!
The reason why I mentioned the "GERRY" is because I just watched this "Adventure" for a while and I couldn't help but think of "Jerry" and it felt very similar. In fact, I don't think this is just an environmental theme, or some stories about survival in the wild mentioned in some introductions. When I look at it, many places are more like metaphors.
The city in front is our current civilization, and the father abandoned a pair of children in the desert, just like God created us and abandoned us on the earth. Although it was difficult, we survived tenaciously. That aboriginal may represent the innocence in our hearts. He helps us live in the harsh natural environment and find civilization. When we were close to civilization, he saw the cruelty brought about by civilization, and he cried, not wishing to leave the brother and sister representing "us". And we don't understand what he wanted to express...Finally, he died and we entered a civilized society.
Probably so, I think so. Very good movie, I like it.
