- from "Marvin's Room"
is directed at Leo Nardo went with Meryl Streep, and was finally moved by Beth.
Terminal illness, stroke, cold war... each is a tear-jerking plot that can be played to the fullest, but the director downplays it. His focus is on the love and dedication of the family between Beth, Li, and Hank, and of course the selfishness and misunderstandings. There is no great sadness or joy, no crying, even Beth knows that she has blood cancer with a face of disbelief, even Li sees her sister’s hair and she just tolerates it secretly in the toilet, her only feelings are revealed at the end. Aunt Beth said, I have been so lucky to have someone to love so much. With a slow smile, she said gently that
everything was so plain that the tears wandered in her eyes many times. In the end, I never cried. Looking at the shining and beating sunlight in Marvin's room, my heart is sour and warm,
I am very happy that I have so many people to love.
I always say, I want to find someone who loves me very much. I always think that it is unfair to love more than others. I always neglect to love someone. Love or being loved, which one is happier? Aunt Beth said the same
thing, why not try to love someone hard? Don't be afraid of hurt, don't be fair, just love.
