There is only one Liu Bieqian

Elegance, wisdom and fluency should be the greatest feature of Liu Bieqian's movies. In the final analysis of this film, what I like most is the balance and excellence of the supporting roles, especially Pippi and the eyewear shop assistant. Pippi’s threats after he rescued the boss and the call to errands, etc. The most humorous thing is that the eyewear clerk tends to avoid the boss when he asks for sincere opinions from others.
Another highlight is Stewart's superb acting skills, deep into his bones, and calm and composed.

Alfred Kralik: On your worst enemy.

Klara Novak (Miss Novak): I didn't say that, Mr. Kralik.

Alfred Kralik: Well, let's not quarrel anymore.
