Objectively speaking, if this movie was produced in 1973 instead of 2003, it would be good, and the big production in 2003 would dare to fool mediocrity so much without innovation, it would be completely unforgivable.
Especially in terms of plot, whether it is the paired setting of internal character contradictions, or the warm branches of living in the homes of civilians in other countries, or encountering hostile old knowledge before the war, or the spiritual repentance caused by accidentally hurting civilians, it can be before. Similar items are found in the film, which is why I have to despise the director.
From another point of view, a repeated or bad film is really too much to kill the masses of time. This type of director is actually more unambiguous than the perpetrator, and should be punished according to the degree.
