"Sleepwalkers" is derived from Stephen King's novel of the same name. Taken in the early 90s.

Thanks to the film production team of Shengchengjiayuan for allowing me to see such a horror film adapted from the work of Stephen King.

In fact, I have always been longing and obsessed with old horror movies (this "old" is not too old, probably between 1985 and 1993). The horror films in the 80s and 90s may be due to the lack of cutting-edge special effects, so the director put more energy on the story and details to make up for the lack of special effects.

Watching horror films of this era, you can more or less appreciate the sincerity and intentions contained in the film.

"Sleepwalkers" is the same.

The plot is worthy of scrutiny. The story is simple and popular but attractive. The actors performed well and sincerely. The level of special effects is reasonable. It is also because of the relationship between Stephen King's original work. The story is smooth, simple and practical, based on real life. It is still intriguing until the end of the film.

Director Mick Garris is probably the leading master of horror films in the 90s. In recent years, he has not released a new independently produced film. Only joined the filming of the drama "Masters of Horror", and produced the short stories "Black Cat" and "Chocolate". The style is dark, exciting, absurd and full of black humor elements, which is very exciting and impresses the viewers. impression.

If you think about it, I have seen very few movies adapted from Stephen King's works these years. Last year's "1408" and 2003's "Dream and Cry" can only be regarded as mediocre works, too commercial, it's okay to barely watch. Stephen King's original book is the box office appeal, but the money is mediocre. Excellent horror movies such as "Skinny to Death", "Pet Sematary" and this "Sleepwalkers" were shot in the 90s, which I have to say is no small regret.

I think Stephen King’s stuff is still a bit less commercial and more sincere.
