It's just that I think there is a plot in the film that is far-fetched. Paul went to the farm and organized a connection. Because of language barriers, he painted the code of the organization on the ground. After passing it, it was not wiped off and was discovered by Paul's bodyguard. It caused Paul and his accomplices to kill him and put Paul into danger.
Isn't this organization dedicated to spies? How could you make such a low-level mistake. There is also Paul stealing the secrets of other countries and killing people. His behavior was originally wrong. Why did Julie worship him like a hero after knowing it!
In the second half of the film, the reason and right or wrong for the two of them to steal intelligence in East Germany are really ignored. The Iron Curtain is really not important, and fleeing is a serious matter.
Anyway, this movie is still very good! In addition, I have seen short mystery novels written by Hitchcock, which are as good as his movies. He is really a genius.
