Our planet is run by humankind for humankind. There is little left for the rest of the living world.
Well, we've destroyed it. Not just ruined it.
That's my witness statement. A story of global decline during a single lifetime. But it doesn't end there. If we continue on our current course, the damage that has been the defining feature of my lifetime will be eclipsed by the damage coming in the next.
The answer is quite straightforward: rewild the world.

Giving people a greater opportunity of life is what we would want to do anyway.
Enable girls, in particular, to stay in school as long as possible, we can make population peak sooner at a lower level.
The trick is to raise the standard of living around the world without increasing our impact on that world.
Change our diet. predator-prey. fewer pesticides, less fertilizer, emit less carbon
