We always look forward to miracles, but there seems to be no miracle in Melville’s movies

This is a film that does not talk about love, has nothing to do with Fengyue, and is absolutely masculine. Except for the extravaganza dancers, there are hardly any female roles.

After looting the jewelry store for a long period of silence, my heart kept tugging, for fear that the alarm would suddenly sound or the heavenly troops would suddenly arrest the three of them.

"Hurry up", worrying for them, and cheering for them.

There seemed to be a tight string in their minds until the moment before they actually got in the car and escaped. It feels like walking on a treadmill with a malfunctioning pause button. I have run very tired, but I just can’t get down, and I feel exhausted physically and mentally.

I had to say to myself silently, "All fake is fake", but the nervousness has not diminished in the slightest.

Sometimes the director is inexplicably blamed: Who are you? Why torture other people's hearts so much.

The last three people fell into the gunshots of the police one after another. There was no buffer, room, or lyricism, and the film came to an abrupt end.

Before the audience was relieved from the sudden passing of the three people, the lights came on and the subtitles rolled.

We always look forward to miracles, but there seems to be no miracle in Melville's movies.

It's so cold. The so-called "Happy ending" is just a fairy tale.

Why did the last three people feel heartache when they were killed by the police? Because from a certain moment in the film, I have fallen in love with three people-Gore, the escaped convict Fogo, and the sniper Ransen.

From which moment did it start?

In the wilderness, Gore shouted to Fogo who was hiding in the trunk to let him come out. The vigilant Fogo took a gun at Gore, and Gore calmly put down his hands and threw a pack of cigarettes to the opponent.

Fogo was surprised at the other's "non-resistance", and greedily smoked his cigarette, the smoke ring was blown away by the cold winter wind, as if the emotional ice between the two quickly melted.

Does Gore simply sympathize with the fugitive Fogo, or does he want to find a helper for his plan? Maybe it's both, but that simple kindness can't deceive people.

Have you ever experienced that kind of moment, when you were the most tired and desperate, a stranger suddenly helped you, even if it was just a tiny thing.

This kindness is sometimes close to some kind of salvation.

In fact, Fogo was not the only one who was rescued? Later, if it weren't for Fogo's protection, Gore might have been shot and killed by the Avenger who was chasing after him. The shot of Fogo shooting behind the Avenger reminds me of the sudden appearance of Brother Pheasant when Chen Haonan was killed in "Young and Dangerous".

The two are even. Perhaps it is this dramatic "friendship between life and death," or the recognition of the lonely souls of two marginalized people. In short, a special trust has been established between Gore and Fogo.

Before setting off to rob the jewelry store, the scene of Gore and Fogo preparing in the room is also particularly fascinating. There is no soundtrack at all. The two are busy tying shoelaces and bringing equipment. Although they don't say a word, you can clearly feel the tacit understanding, nature and belief between them. I have only known each other for a few days, and I have understood each other without talking like my old partners. People can actually be very simple, and so is the friendship between men.

Ran Sen played, not only the moment when he raised his rifle to aim and shoot in the jewelry store, but also the process of making bullets in the room. Almost the whole process is silent, the actor Yves is too confident, without any unnecessary movements and expressions, recognizing and skillfully mixing ingredients, weighing, and calcining... "True" can no longer be "True".

Another touching thing about Ransen is that after the successful robbery, he told Gore that he would not take his own part of the money, but must let Gore and Fogo escape safely.

In the end, Gore was in danger, and Fogo and Ransen did not choose to escape by themselves, but rushed out to rescue him.

In fact, whether the last three people fell under the guns of the police or not, the friendship between them was moving enough, but the cruel ending made this moving even more sad.

As Wu Yusen said: "I believe in brotherhood and everything related to it. Such as honor, loyalty and friendship."

Some people say that the best journey is no return. "Red Circle" has a doomsday atmosphere from beginning to end, cold and dry.

No matter how pure the emotions were, they couldn't catch them. Three people died, and Melville threw the audience into a cold winter.
