The tough love that travels through the chaotic life

This is an autobiographical film adapted to real events, with a length of 141 minutes. From 2002 to 2021, through the phase change of the protagonist's identity (student, husband, military doctor, PTSD patient, addict, robber, prisoner), a 19-year chaotic and confused life was depicted. The film is directed by two Marvel Russell directors, starring Spider-Man Tom Holland, from college students to middle-aged uncles. The protagonist inherits the characteristics of Spider-Man’s words, and shows a large number of monologues in the film, some of which use surreal expressions to pause the time in the screen, and the character speaks to the camera to highlight the psychedelic nature of the event itself. And absurdity, such as easily robbed 11 banks in a row. For each stage of the role, the movie has very conspicuous paragraph titles marked on the big red city background map. According to the different states of the characters, different painting styles and music are matched. At first glance at this film, I feel that the two baby-faced protagonists are too immature to take on such a serious life. Fortunately, the length of the film is long enough to allow the actors enough time to show the characters to the audience. The final completion is not bad. Especially Tom Holland's performance, it should be said that the inherent impression of Spider-Man has been completely removed. Although this is a slightly depressing movie, it has a warm ending. The protagonist was released on parole after serving 14 years in prison. In the orange sunset, he and his wife looked at each other and smiled. Love has also become the only tough thing in his confused life.
