Loneliness is a disease

This movie made me have a strong urge to add the word "loneliness" to my movie label. Loneliness is simply a word tailored for this movie, throughout.

Lily is a cashier in a fast food restaurant. She is not beautiful, fashionable, restrained, and introverted. She occasionally plays guitar and sings. She lives with her brother who draws comics, plays puzzles, and watches National Geographic Channel. Her voice is small and flat, and she is not good at communicating with people. When the manager of the fast food restaurant and coquettish colleague Jenny laughed, she would laugh at the side to agree with it. So, she was fired, and no one sympathized with her, because she The sense of existence is too thin.

She fell in love with the bad-faced man Gerrod who came to buy a "super chicken" meal every day at 12 o'clock in the afternoon, and practiced Gerrod's confession in front of the mirror every day. Jerrold was fascinated by Jenny. Lily went to Jerrod’s costume party, dressed as a shark, defeated other challengers in the "Battleman's Hegemony", advanced to the defending champion-Jerrod dressed as a shark in a one-on-one fight, and willingly lost to him , Gerrod became Lily's boyfriend.

Lily is lonely, she is shriveled, does not know how to please, has no charm in the eyes of men, and is ridiculous and pitiful in the eyes of women. Lily’s dependent brother is lonely. He is gentle and unsocial. He still lives in the same room with his sister at an age. Only his sister Lili usually talks. He draws and enjoys himself in his own world. He dressed as a tarantula at Gerald's costume party, smiling all the time.

Gerald is alone. He has a weird personality defect. He is paranoid, irritable, and full of strong distrust of the world around him. He rebukes Lily's inquiry to understand him; he collects a lot of weird things, which is psychologically insecure. He is accustomed to lying and covering up, boasting to his family that Lily is an artist, and to Lily about the cause of death of everyone, we can see that he is extremely self-prepared and anxious.

Gerrod's family is lonely. Jerrold’s father was in a wheelchair. Due to the death of his younger son, he became more and more closed. He often lost his temper for no reason. When watching TV, he focused as if his ears did not exist. Approved clothes, enjoy yourself; Gerrod’s friend Mason is a computer boy who doesn’t follow the preface and always wears a T-shirt with "bugger" written on it.

There is such a group of weird people in this movie. It is conceivable that any one of them is the object of being excluded and laughed at among the school children. Things are illogical, collect weird things, or simply close the world of oneself, and turn a deaf ear to ridicule and contempt, or just promise and try to please others but never do it. However, it is undeniable that they are a kind-hearted group. Under their weird attitudes, they also have a heart that pursues love. So, after seeing Gerrod’s irritable temper, we said in the dark, if you want to hold my hand; Lily was thrown away by Gerrod, and she wanted to take the bus home by herself at the station. Mason came over on his bike and squatted to say that you could date me. After Lily politely refused, he shouted "I'm kidding" and rode away, but his panic and disappointment pretended to be calm. The words cannot be concealed.

If the autism of the "rain people" is congenital, in this movie it is a group of acquired "rain people", whether they are young children, young people thirsting for love, middle-aged couples in the same pace, Still dying old people, none of them were spared from being hit by loneliness.

Lily loves Gerald, loves such an unlovable weird person, their communication is not smooth, but in fact, she has such a stubbornness, her world has her own innocence and beauty, but it is Need to be discovered slowly. The warmest thing about the movie is the clean fantasy that exists around Lily. Apples, this beautiful, juicy, scented and nutritious fruit, come alive around Lily. There are two apples that admire each other close to each other, and some have been abandoned into the bridge. The moth-eaten apple underneath, struggling and rippling aggrievedly on the surface of the water, and an apple core, stood up to avoid the invasion of ants and bees, and took a slipper boat to the sea. Shows the lives of a group of weird characters, so the tone of the whole film is relatively depressing, but Lily, a woman who appeared so inconspicuous from the beginning, slowly presents a kind of almost transparent freshness in the lens, which makes people feel about this. The unbeautiful girl feels good, watching her big eyes flash from joy to tears, watching her tight lips sometimes give a cautious smile, watching her draw the beautiful ocean and sharks along the way Walking lonely across the beach against the backdrop of the patterned stone wall makes people feel that she is worth cherishing.

The eagle is the lonely king in the sky. It has sharp eyes and can see everything. The shark is the lonely king in the ocean. It has a keen sense of smell and walks by the wounded.

Loneliness always makes people feel sad. Since when has communication become so difficult? Since when did one's own world no longer trust the faults of others? When do lies support everything? At what time did love and trust pull each other, and sighed. This movie does not give you a clear answer, it just shows a state. Loneliness is a disease, what good medicine is there? Maybe it's just Lily's apple, rotten apple and apple core, even after being abandoned by the world, they will always find a suitable one for each other. If you found it, please be kind to it, just like every heart you meet.
