"Crazy Primitives 2"-can't wait anymore?

In the recently aired "Crazy Primitives 2", different cultures were once again described, with the appearance of lovers being separated due to disagreement in their concepts, which extends to the clash and fusion of civilizations.

Guy and the Eep family rushed to "Tomorrow" together, chasing the light. They met a high wall, and Dad smashed the wall, behind which was a "Wonderland on Earth".

The abundant and luxuriant food and flowers, and the harmonious coexistence of various novel creatures, accompanied these "high-level civilizations" to appear as a white couple.

They faced the group of "low-level" cavemen with a high-profile "welcome", and with the thought of taking Guy and their daughter to match, they entertained the protagonist and the group.

1. Banana

In the film, bananas are used to appease unknown manic creatures outside the wall. White couples regard it as an invisible and invincible existence.

Ironically, outside the wall is nothing but boxing monkeys. Bananas were thrown out by the white Phil. The boxing monkeys who got the tribute turned to give it to the bigger orangutans in exchange for peace.

Like Boxing Monkey, when facing a stronger existence than himself, Phil chooses to retreat and is afraid to challenge. Therefore, once they lose their only consolation-banana, they will face the oppression of self-uploading.

Bananas represent their escape and inaction. They think that they can cut off danger by building a high wall, but in fact they are strengthening the greed of the enemy and cutting their own flesh to feed the tiger.

2. Privacy

" Privacy promotes individuality ", this sentence has been interspersed in the film.

The cave people who eat, sleep and sleep together, and the white people who have their own private space. People who came to the caves in the garden, except Grug, all slept well in their rooms. It seems that privacy is a big step in the evolution of civilization.

But they sleep soundly, not because they have a private space, but because they have a comfortable environment, and space cannot separate their feelings from each other.

White couples who have always believed in privacy, in fact, the white Phil still has a "secret cave" that his wife does not know, so what privacy brings is concealment? Slap or not?

3. Love

From the beginning of the film Guy and Eep show off their love, to conflicts and separation, and finally to understand each other, reconciliation is as good as before, I have to say, it's a bloody romantic drama.

Use the love of two people to show the conflict between different cultural concepts. Eep didn't understand the changes after Guy came here, and Guy didn't understand why Eep pursued the days when his life could not be guaranteed in the past, so the two separated.

Look carefully, isn't it just forcibly fusing culture under the skin of love? In love, you can change yourself and accept each other, but culture is by no means transferred by personal will.

It can be used for reference, but it will never be merged. If foreign culture is merged, it will no longer be the original culture, but a colonized existence.

4. Monkey

The boxing monkeys once had the same fairyland as the white people, endless bananas and endless fun. Suddenly one day they lost the water source, and then they faced a huge orangutan.

They didn't look for the reason for the depletion of the water source, but after receiving the banana from the white man, they gave it to the gorilla with peace of mind and did nothing else. After the banana was eaten by Grug, he only knew to kidnap humans and pretend to be bananas to calm the gorilla's anger.

Although they are just monkeys, not humans with higher intelligence, as aboriginals, they only know that they sit back and enjoy their achievements and are willing to oppress. None of the countless monkeys in the valley proposed to resist the gorillas or regain water and bananas.

This is the annoying "servility" that the film adds to them. The ferocious gorillas conquered them by force, and the white people who stole the water source comforted them with the shared water source. They are like a leaf. They can settle down wherever they float. Apart from their basic needs, there is no deeper thinking.

5. Sisters of Thunder

In American movies, heroism is most prevalent. Who will save you when you are in distress? hero.

The invincible gorilla is like the big villain boss set in the game, waiting for the heroes of the protagonist to conquer it. When the plot developed to this point, the "Thunder Sisters" suddenly popped out, and then the elderly grandma burst into divine power and formed a new generation, just a few times and won.

For a good movie, a big golden finger fell from the sky, and then the former enemy became a thing of the past . How can we accept such an old routine without even changing it, just stuff it in?

6. HE ending

The animated movie HE is normal, who doesn’t like watching the protagonists live happily together?

But in this movie, its inner theme is culture, not love or family affection or ideals. Culture is the bottom line and principle that cannot be compromised .

The indigenous monkeys who were taken away from the water source, the husky spiders living in the wild, the white family of more advanced cultures, the savage cavemen family...their relationship with each other cannot be covered by a single HE in the movie.

The final HE is conveying the straightforward and revealing thoughts of exploitation to the audience, coupled with cute cartoon characters, to wash away the evil deeds hidden behind them.

It may be nothing for adults, but for children? Don’t they feel that squeezing others can finally get along with each other in harmony? To put it bluntly, this is brainwashing, planting such seeds in the subconscious, and then I don’t know which day it will sprout and grow...

7. Conclusion

In the first part, we looked at the cave family, from the initial barbarism and inflexibility, to the later flexible use, we used our own hands to create more and more new things, step by step towards a better tomorrow. go ahead.

With it, the audience will look forward to a more attractive story in the second part, but unfortunately, no!

As an animated movie, it is involuntarily loved from the appearance. It clearly possesses the ability to recreate glory, but in the sequel, it composes an ugly and disgusting reality, trying to hide it with the skin of animation.

"Selling dog meat" is probably only "disgusting" to describe it.

Pay attention to the ball wave, crab~\(≥▽≤)/~

The first part had problems in the general direction of the script, and the second part still had problems. Although the screenwriter changed Guage, he seems to have become the protagonist. Unfortunately, in the second half, he turned to bananas and monkeys to solve the problem. Still the first big frame is better and more entertaining. A design with too many technical traces like the second part will make you feel boring after reading a few more paragraphs, but the purpose of all the skills being entertaining is worth learning.

Waiting 7 years for such a sequel to come out, I don’t think it is necessary. I almost committed all the problems of the sequel. The story is weak, the characters are flat, and the jokes are not enough. The modern set is mechanically copied to the primitive era, so that all aspects of the sequel are lazy. After reading it, there is no fluctuation or even feel noisy.

The Croods: A New Age quotes

  • Eep: [about Guy] I can't believe he would choose a tree over me.

Ugga: I don't think it's that sample. Guy knew the Bettermans when he was little. They're the closest thing he has to a family.

  • Ugga: Eep, if something hurts this much, maybe it means you do care. maybe it's something worth fighting for. So, what are you gonna do about it?
