The Carnegie Hall was full of seats, and the audience gave the warmest applause to the old musicians of Buena Vista Social Club. A song "Chan Chan", the notes beating Havana's pleasant and pleasant savannah climate, exuding long-lasting and strong cigar aroma, warm rhythm, swinging melody, indulgent singing, and the faces of old musicians that have been sculpted over the years An intoxicating and knowing smile bloomed, and his eyes flashed with youthful, naughty childishness.

Cheerful and soft music hides a little sadness, the simple and lovely lyrics contain tender compassion, and the flying and gentle singing voice makes people feel embarrassed Moved like choking in the throat. These veteran musicians who have been forgotten by the years, with fiery passion, crossed the political barriers and re-interpreted the charm and madness of Havana.

Silencio
Ibrahim Ferrer & Omara Portuondo
Asleep in my garden
The gladiolas and the roses
The white lilies
And my soul
So very sad and heavy
From the flowers
I wish to hide the bitter pain
I wouldn't want the flowers to know
About the torments that life gives me
For if they should know what I am suffering so
For my sorrows
Would Cry AS Well They

[Chorus]
Silence
the For They are Sleeping
at The gladiolas at The Lilies and
the I Would not want to know Them My Sorrows
Because
the If They See Me Crying
They Would Die

Figure: Ibrahim Ferrer and Omara Portuondo Silencio is soulful singing
softly The drumbeats, the deep violin, the melancholy people whisper in the garden at night, the sadness of losing a lover can’t bear to show, for fear that the lovely flowers will cry for me. Omara's tears couldn't fall on her own, Ibrahim wiped them gently for her.

No one would have thought that such a light would shine in their last time. After the Cuban Revolution in 1959, the United States imposed economic sanctions on Cuba. Cuban artists no longer cooperated with American record companies. Cuban music gradually faded out of people’s memory and retired from the pop music scene. People only vaguely remember those cheerful and dynamic South American music, but these music masters have long been forgotten. They disappeared among ordinary people, buried in the trivialities of life. If it weren't for a coincidence, this wonderful piece of Cuban music can only wither silently as the years go by. Ry Cooder traveled across the ocean, looking for the rhythm that moved him, and met Orlando'Cachaíto' López (the double bass player of the Buena Vista Social Club). The members of this band miraculously joined together, although Ibrahim hadn’t sang for many years. , And Rubén hasn’t played the piano for ten years. This is really lucky! Ry Cooder is just looking for the admirable music on the tape, without even knowing that these players are still in the world. When the band replayed, Compay Segundo was ninety years old, Rubén was eighty years old, and lead singer Ibrahim Ferrer was seventy-two... These old musicians used music to show the warmest bloom of life.

Compay Segundo is a lovely old man. He always has a wise smile on his face and winks mischievously. I love to watch him gently tap the guitar with his fingertips, humming a youthful melody, "Here on the beach, Maria how you excite me." When he talks, he always holds a cigar in his hand, and occasionally glances at the TV. He knows how happy he is. Music, cigars, and women are his favorites. He has five children, and he wants another one.

At the concert, Ry Cooder came next to him and Compay Segundo said humorously, "I may have to work a little harder because Ry Cooder is here." This is a piece he would play when he was a child.

On the trunk of a tree
A young girl carved her name
Overcome with happiness and joy
And the tree
Touched to the core
Let fall a flower for the girl
I am the tree so sad and moved
And you are the girl who hurt me so
I' ll always treasure your dear name
But tell me what became of my poor flower

. Picture: Rubén González was playing the piano.
Rubén González was relatively silent. Flying, I was inexplicably moved in my heart. With a faltering back and a quiet sitting, at this moment, there is only the joy of music. When Rubén blows his gratitude to the enthusiastic audience frequently on the stage, you can feel his excitement and desire when you look at the Statue of Liberty in New York.

Photo: Ibrahim Ferrer at the concert.
Ibrahim Ferrer is the lead singer of Buena Vista Social Club. His simple appearance cannot conceal his innocent childish and extremely charming voice. He easily told that on the day the miracle happened, he was polishing his shoes, Juan de Marcos eagerly asked him to sing, and he didn't even have time to take a shower, and he no longer wanted to sing because he didn't see any value in singing. He is always so naughty to say to the person above that he and his wife can enjoy more happiness.

Fire Burning Me IS up at The. Still, the I want to the Keep Making Music.
But at The Fire IS carrying Me Away. Still, the I want to the Keep Making Music.

Watching Ibrahim Ferrer on stage so mixed feelings, heart some tingling, once Popular sung, decades of forgotten indifferent time, enthusiastically sought after by others in foreign countries, the ups and downs in the middle can only be known. The joyous singing sang all the resistance and persistence, loneliness and loneliness. Decades of flicks, unwillingness, bitterness, happiness, luck... are all here... music in Havana, stage in a foreign country...

I really want to thank Ry Cooder and Wim Wenders!
"The film is in music ! " The characters are lightly brought into the scene after the Cuban revolution forty years, and the love and grievances between Cuba and the United States are painted in light colors. The old artists in the film are not only humorous and cute in music. Wenders’ dialogue made Wenders wisely capture it, sometimes laughing with their dialogue, and sometimes choked with tears. Cuba and the United States under the alternate lens of Wenders continue the dialogue of Ibrahim, Cuba It is a small country, but proudly fights against all the good and the bad, such as a brilliant philosopher, Ibrahim uses singing to tell Cuba’s forty years of loneliness.” (quoted a paragraph, the source is forgotten)
