Five short stories and one space

The film is composed of five different stories, which seem to have no connection but actually have a certain connection with the main line. The first story and the fifth story form a closed loop, and the second, third, and fourth stories all take place in this loop.

The movie can be regarded as a suspenseful one, it will be a little confused at first, but there are many explanations in many places when I watch it the second time.

(The following is my guess on the movie story, which is subjective and has serious spoilers)

First of all, the first story is directly related to the fifth story, which can be said to form a cycle. In story five, the masked bandit who broke into a family of three is the protagonist of the first story, while the skeleton in story one comes from a family of three killed in story five. From the details revealed in the two stories, another story can be inferred. The male owner of a family of three was the murderer who killed the daughter of one of the gangsters, and was avenged by the gangsters and friends, but the wife and daughter did not know about it.

In the second story, the car of the three girls in the band broke down on the highway, and in desperation, they took a couple's car to their house as guests. Two of them were assimilated and the other girl escaped. In the third story, a man accidentally knocked down the girl who had escaped, contacted the ambulance staff, but killed the girl. It can also be seen from the details of these two stories that the girl who escaped indirectly led to the death of her friend.

These few stories can already be inferred that these dead people are guilty of bearing their lives on their bodies, except for the mother and daughter in story five, and the fourth story is also explaining the space where the highway is located.

It seems to be the story of a brother looking for a trapped sister, but a careful analysis of their conversation reveals that the younger sister stayed here voluntarily, and the younger sister killed her parents. The younger sister knew that she was guilty, but she knew that she enjoyed the killing, so she was willing to stay here to make atonement, but the older brother seemed to come to bring her out, the intention was to shield her and prevent her from making atonement, so she was finally left in this space.

These few stories also show that this space of the highway is a space where guilty people can continue to circulate and redeem their sins. As long as they harm people, they can only fall into this space and continue to reincarnate. And the reason why the mother and daughter of Story 5 became skeleton monsters was probably because they had never harmed anyone and were innocent, so after being killed, they became evil spirits and started revenge. As for the driver who collided with people in the story three, it was because the girl who hit him was guilty, and it can be said that he was dragged into this reincarnation by mistake. Therefore, he is the only person who can get out of these stories.

A segmented story, the connection between each one seems to be small, the main line is vague, and many places are not explained clearly, but it feels like it is about "redemption".

I feel like there are still a lot of details I don't understand
