Finally understand why so many people love pets.

Write a digression first, it's an introduction.

I came across "Silent Instinct". I originally searched for "Instinct" on Tencent, but I accidentally saw it. Let's call it "Xianyuan", so I started to watch this film.

Let's briefly introduce this film. The whole film was two hours away by two minutes, and I finished watching it without any problems. This process was shocking, moving, and doubtful. The most impressive thing was the male protagonist's words. His lines were few, but his words were all words.

The whole film revolves around the protagonist’s two-year experience of studying chimpanzees in the jungle in Rwanda. This dark line unfolds. The other two open lines that lead to this dark line are the male protagonist’s family, mainly his daughter and the father and daughter of the male protagonist. Love points, the other is that the psychologist took over the case of the actor's psychotherapy in order to improve his career. Psychotherapy for the silent male protagonist is the main line that runs through almost the entire film.

This psychiatrist is professional and full of confidence. From the beginning, he said very firmly that I can do it. Let this anthropologist who has lived with and minted with chimpanzees for two years speak.

A large number of shots in the film show the anthropologist's behaviors that are close to chimpanzees, killing people, violent attacks, airport attacks, etc., silently all the way, just like animals, when they feel danger, they violently fight back. Even so, the psychiatrist was still confident about his goals, and he firmly said, I can do it, I can let him speak, indeed, he did it. After several interviews, the male lead spoke. The first word the male protagonist said was "goodbye". This is goodbye to his daughter. He didn't want to go back to her daughter. He fell in love with the days of living with chimpanzees. He thought that was his home, facing her daughter. , He just felt guilty, he thought he returned to the jungle with the chimpanzees, he felt an unprecedented peace and harmony, he was fed up with the human desire to control, he believed that unless humans give up control, humans are incurable. The chimpanzee made him realize that this world is not human, it is not unique to humans, and it is not controlled by humans. The living environment of humans is not as good as that of animals, and not as happy as that group of chimpanzees. At the end of the film, the male protagonist jumped out of the window to escape, escaped back to the jungle in Rwanda, and continued to live the life he yearned for.

Looking at the shocking scenes, I have been thinking about why this doctor who studies chimpanzees fell in love with the days of living with chimpanzees. Even if he has no memory loss, he can still speak and still possess his intelligent brain. He can live a prosperous and decent life in a modern and civilized metropolis, but he did not go back. When meeting with his daughter under the arrangement of a psychologist, he expressed his love and miss for her daughter, and after guilt, he chose to leave. To his hometown, the jungle in Rwanda.

I interpret his behavior and choices based on my simple experience. According to Maslow’s theory of needs, his life in the jungle as a normal doctor, almost meets all the needs of Maslow’s pyramid of needs theory. . He believes that with the chimpanzee, he feels safe and self-sufficient in life. There is no problem in survival. The chimpanzee accepts him, and the care, care and tolerance for him makes him feel love, belonging, and respect for getting along with him. In the embrace of nature, he and the chimpanzee have established such a relationship, making him feel extremely peaceful and harmonious, and experience the happiness of life. This is probably the satisfaction of the need for self-realization.

This reminds me of the fact that some friends have pets in reality. The love and pampering for small pets is no less than that of human babies, and even more. This is probably also the tranquility, harmony and beauty that small animals bring to human hearts, which humans cannot give!

People living in this more and more civilized society feel too much hypocrisy, deception, lies, for the fascinating rights, interests, etc., people are not as cute and beautiful as animals.

Above my point of view, welcome to discuss related topics with you.
