"Instinctual Reaction"
Personal movie essays, informal movie reviews
When I finished watching it, I suddenly realized that this is a chicken soup movie, and there is almost no climax from beginning to end. In the first 20 minutes, I probably guessed the plot of the story, so I watched it. In the classification of movies, I saw that one of them was a horror, and that's right, except for a sudden surprise, this movie is really quite horrible!
Sometimes idealism is indistinguishable from chicken soup. It depends on how you understand it. Movies can make idealism a reality and let chicken soup nourish your life. Then choose to accept it or not? I think if you are a person with a heart of innocence, you might like this movie better, but for me, who is not full of negative energy, I dislike this kind of movies. In fact, I think there is nothing wrong with the movie. It's just that everyone hates that kind of guy who doesn't seem to be cannibalistic and pretentious! It's too hypocritical, and what makes me really playful is that after he returns to the jungle, he really can't help thinking, what if it is a big winter, and what about mosquito bites in summer? He's not full of hair like a gorilla. It's ridiculous. Are the audience fools? Having said that, if I stand from the opposite angle, my face should be very ugly. Yes, I can feel it, but I happen to be a person who doesn’t like people. I hate myself. I think we hurt a lot. Animals, we are very selfish, we have all kinds of problems, just like the popular saying that we were born humans, I’m sorry, haha, despite this, I still don’t like this movie. It’s like an anti-Japanese drama. Used a very low-level story to convey a very high philosophy! Back to nature, what I saw was shit and unreasonable, extremely hypocritical!
The movie was released in 1999. I remember that 2000 was a watershed in the movie. The picture quality of the previous and subsequent movies can probably be seen, and this "Instinctual Reaction" does have "Silent Lambs" at first glance. "The texture of "Shawshank's Redemption" and even the setting of some lines have a shadow of the latter, but it is a pity that the two are far apart!
PS: The movie was not terribly unbearable. I just hate the people in it. The gorillas are pitiful and people are hateful. If the world has the snap of Thanos, I hope I will be the one who disappeared, never come back, and I don’t want to go to another. A world, give me the ultimate death, alive will only cause trouble to the world
