Director M. Night Shyamalan is said to be a director who is very good at horror themes and ending reversal. I really don’t know, because I don’t really like to watch horrors. There are not many bloody, violent, and horrible scenes in this movie. The real horror stems from the unknown. The three girls tried to escape time and time again but failed repeatedly in despair. The female doctor's self-blame and fear intertwined but irreparably cry. There is even the tragedy of child molestation in the secondary line that allows onlookers to just let it happen. This is the horror that penetrates the pores, which can be detected and cannot be escaped.
