The best movie I've seen this year!

The script is well written, and the director is also great. The heroine of this drama, even if young, even if the mood is a little too full, washing dishes, tying bags, throwing trash and other small actions are a little too distracted and clever, etc., still acting with a sense of comfort, vaguely. It was refreshing to see Hans smoking a cake in the shameless bastard back then!

This story happened in Wayne's company, but this film is about the assistant's story. If you take Wayne too seriously and think that people like Wayne in the entertainment industry are a minority, then you don't need to watch this film because there is no fun in watching movies. If you think Wayne was cleaned up because of bad luck, then this film is too good to watch.

Friends who like light colors and such a calm atmosphere, don't miss this film.

It's too bland and doesn't feel loud. If you have a bit of Bombshell-like refreshment, you might like it. Secondly, the picture is not good enough, and it is not very comfortable to watch deliberately dark. A few key scenes are too weak, so there is no need for another set of filming through the window paper these days.

There may be suspicion of being "slowly hot" before and after the outbreak of the Weinstein case, but the biggest feeling is that it created a kind of silence by completely focusing on the role in the context of current affairs (even leaving out other details). Of horror. The vague voice on the phone, the "big boss" who only hears his voice but does not see him, HR's sharp interrogation and the "joking"/"joking" that pervades the surroundings all the time...Where can she go after the dark night? This may be the most unsolvable but difficult problem for all victims in the industry after the incident, and it is also the most painful and brave expression. [Seal our Julia Garner will win the prize sooner or later]

The Assistant quotes

  • Wilcock: I don't think you have anything to worry about.

    Jane: Hmm?

    Wilcock: You're not his type.

  • Boss: [Over the phone] I'm not gonna yell at you. Am I yelling? No... Because you're not someone even worthy of that. Because you didn't even have the fucking courtesy to talk to me about whatever the fuck fantasy you decided to spew all over me... So, let me ask, do you want to keep this job?

    Jane: Yeah.

Boss: Okay... Then send me a fucking apology.
