As a whole, I feel that I am reading a three-dimensional novel, divided into the first half and the second half. The story is ups and downs and the format is also very novel. However, reading and watching movies are still too different. The wonderful experience of reading must be through the imagination of words and the re-creation of images in the brain. The expression path of movies is too rich, pictures, sound effects, colors, character performances, scenes... .... If it is not for the indispensable paving expression for the development of the plot, it is very easy to overflow when the water is full, and the eyes are confused and lost. This kind of chapter-back novel recording method has not been done by a director, but because of the complexity and historical leap of the story itself, it does not feel too full or too long, such as Kubrick's Barry Lynden. It is still not suitable for this kind of expression to convey small stories of more delicate emotional growth.
Perhaps it is the seriousness and piety of the film that is full of tension and expression. Even if you can't fully praise it, watching the movie doesn't feel like a waste of life.
