Ghost Call 1 Story Reasoning and Analysis

I don’t know how many times I have watched this movie. Maybe it’s because I downloaded bad subtitles before and there are very few commentaries on the Internet, so there are always a few questions lingering in my mind. But I basically understood everything from this rewatch, and I think the remaining problems are the shortcomings of the script itself. Since this movie has a long history, we are all very destined to see this article.

Plot combing

The first point to be sorted out is the Mizunum family. Marie is the mother, Mimiko is the eldest daughter, and Nanako is the youngest daughter. A large part of the previous movie showed that the mother had a "surrogate feint disease", which would hurt her children and then take care of them. In the diary of Ritsuko (Sister of Yamashita), it was discovered that Nanako was often injured and admitted to the hospital. So the protagonists all point the finger at their mother. But then I found a videotape in Nanako. The video was in Minuma’s home. My sister had been violent to her sister. Then she said to her: I took you to the hospital . This scene was discovered by my mother. At the same time, my sister had an asthma attack. My sister went to the hospital and left her sister, and her sister also passed away. Here we can learn that the sick one turned out to be the older sister. And we also know from my sister that every time my sister is done with violence, she will give her a candy.

The second point to sort out is the supernatural event:

The source of the ringtone: When visiting Nanako at the foot of the mountain, we can know that the source of the ringtone is Nanako's teddy bear. In the video tape, we can find that when the sister was violent, the sister was holding the teddy bear, and then when the mother pushed her sister to the ground, the music rang. So it can be speculated that the reason for using this ringtone is the music that my sister was playing before her death. Every time this bell rang, it was Mimiko's call .

Transmission method: In fact, similar to the rumor at the beginning, it was found through the contacts on the phone, but please note: it was only searched in the phone book, and did not use the deceased's mobile phone to dial . Because if you use the deceased’s phone to dial, theoretically, the next caller ID will be displayed. Since all the ghost calls received by the deceased are displaying their own number, Mimiko must have dialed it from her mother’s phone. The reason why my mother has Ritsuko's call is because the latter is the nurse who takes care of Nanako.

Are the deceased dialing numbers after death? : In the scene where Natsumi was found on the TV station, Yumi had a conversation with Yamashita for the first time. Yamashita took out Ritsuko's cell phone (very old), while holding the dead Yoko's cell phone, pointing out that both phones were after the death of the two. Dial the same number. We can see that Xia Mei's broken hand is holding the mobile phone, and the dial "03522" is displayed on it; and when the second research team died, the mobile phone was being pressed by the air "0352...". In fact, this reflects that they are not looking for the next victim, because they are calling the same number. And this number is just the phone number of the hospital! The reason for making this call is likely to reflect the second paragraph of this article. My sister said to my sister: I will take you to the hospital.

The deceased vomited beads: This should be understood by everyone. It is the nature of the sister, who likes to give a candy to the victim after the violence.

There are still some controversies, my personal understanding is as follows:

Did Yamashita know Mimiko early in the morning? : At the end of the movie, Yamashita walked into Minuma’s house and helped Mimiko with a nebulizer. Some people say that Yamashita knew Mimiko from the beginning, but I personally don’t think it is because Yamashita and Yumi went to the home of Oka (the otaku who used the computer to look at the dead data). Yamashita asked the address of Marie. If he knew each other, he didn’t ask. Necessary.

How do you understand the scene of Yumi holding a knife in the hospital? This is related to the second episode, Yumi killed Yamashita. In the second episode, the sheriff said that Yumi was not possessed by Mimiko and that the murder was out of free will. I personally think that Yumi is still possessed, because Yumi did not have any reason to kill Yamashita, and when she went down to Yumi's house, she could see in the mirror that Yumi was indeed possessed.

Was Mimiko or Li Li the murderer? I think both kills, but the characteristics of killing are different. After Mimiko killed the deceased, there was sugar in the mouth, while Li Li had coal in the stomach after killing. Personally, I think the time sequence is as follows: Li Li is the origin of the entire ghost call, then one victim after another, until Mimiko is killed, and Mimiko becomes a ghost and begins a new murder journey (this episode).

But there are a few points that I still fail to understand:

1. In the end, what happened to Yumi's body with Marie in the old hospital? The body suddenly became the appearance of Yumi's mother.

2. Before Mimiko kills, there will be a notice sound, which is the sound when using the nebulizer, which is unclear except for the protagonist to become a detective.

Loopholes

Finally, I found a loophole in the movie, that is, after Yumi entered the old hospital alone, he encountered a series of supernatural events. One of the scenes was that he was caught by a hand and lost a shoe while struggling, but for a few seconds. After running away, she wore shoes again.

If you have different opinions to share, please feel free to mention, the power of everyone is the key to reasoning about the whole movie.
