It's been a while since I watched this movie, and I thought it was a comedy that made people laugh and forget. But I was shocked. It even made me admire the clean mental hospitals. There is no depression and fear of mental hospitals in European films, but simple and straightforward emotions. Maybe these people can't use gorgeous words and beautiful singing to express their love. But the somewhat indiscreet shots just show the simplest and most intense emotions.
In fact, who does not yearn for a beautiful emotion without pressure, but constantly changing ideas and increasingly complex society make this emotion out of reach. So the success of this film lies not in anything else, but in the simple emotions that everyone yearns for.
Sometimes our needs are simple, but this need is getting more and more difficult.
