Perfect adaptation

It is not easy for a masterpiece to be adapted into a movie that does not provoke the fans of the original author. What's more, "You Can't Play" is the most proud comedy of the talented teacher Wilde. Therefore, this movie is really a testament to the skill of the screenwriter, director and even the entire production team.

In order to cater to the layout of the movie, the individual details of the original work have been modified here, and in order to lay out the plot and avoid a large number of dialogues between the two leading to a sense of monotony, the transition of the scene is much richer than the script. But the changes are in line with the style of the original, so it is exceptionally brilliant and not out of line. Moreover, the film has a beautiful picture, which lives up to the reputation of Teacher Wang leading the beautiful coquettish.

The cast is also surprising. The versatile Rupert sang the song with another actor in the film (the lyrics are from teacher Wang’s poem, and the composer is amazing) is refreshing. It seems that the students who like this movie like to listen to this song.

Finally, I seriously recommend that students watch the movie after reading the English script of Teacher Wang and the Chinese version translated by Teacher Yu Guangzhong. There are many subtleties that are beyond words. If there is a chance, it is worth reading several other important books of Teacher Wang just for the pleasure of reading.

The Importance of Being Earnest quotes

  • Algy: Did you hear what I was playing, Lane?

Lane: I didn't think it polite to listen, Sir.

  • Algy: But why does your aunt call you her uncle?

    [Reading cigarette case]

Algy: "From little Cecily, with her fondest love to her dear Uncle Jack." There is no objection, I admit, to an aunt being a small aunt, but why an aunt, no matter what her size may be, should call her own nephew her uncle, I can't quite make out.
