Incomprehensible murder

One sentence comment: third-rate sci-fi horror film, influential horror sci-fi film.

Because of the story setting of the film, it has to be put into the awkward position of science fiction horror. The sublimation of the telepathy of identical twins into a physiological response is indeed incredible. This is easier to evoke the feeling of seeing Jackie Chan's "Double Dragon Club" as a Chinese audience. It's just that Lindsay Lohan obviously doesn't have the big brother's sense of humor. Different from the relaxed and humorous mentality of "Double Dragon Club", this film establishes the concept of "sensing" as the core of the whole story. After watching this film, I feel educated: Oh, that's how it is! It turns out it can really be like this!
The director does not seem to be proficient in how to express the unbelievable events that have indeed occurred in life. Probably not a big fan of "X Files". Somehow, in the behind-the-scenes introduction, it seems that every producer has shown great interest in this story, but the whole film is so careless. The creation of an atmosphere of horror is disappointing. Some of the suspenseful screenwriters are proud to hide the murderer very well. They don't know that the murderer can already have a general idea in less than half of the movie, and the ending just confirms the audience's suspicion. Neither the screenwriter nor the director has been able to find the logic of the murderer's actions from the "dark side of human nature", which may imply one point: the possessiveness of being jealous. But this is far from enough. As a brutal killer, in addition to the desire to amputate his limbs, he has a certain explanation, but the pathological attachment to blue and glass is not well explained. As for the process of handling the case, the director and screenwriter did not seem to realize how easy it would be to handle such a case at the FBI. The intervention of the so-called psychologists is not a common sense to explain the behavior of the offender, but has turned to the analysis of the victim in an uncharacteristic manner. . This kind of "psychologist" is a bit difficult to adapt. The police and the agents who were stationed 24 hours a day could be forgiven for being deceived by a boyfriend. The father and daughter went out in the dark one after another, but the police and the agents did not even give the slightest explanation. It seems that the director has too much dissatisfaction with the American police and federal detectives, and he doesn't even bother to confess their incompetence, and directly kicks them out of the scene and the story. The director's grasping the big and letting go of the small made the "detection" of the entire case a psychic performance.
As for the leading role, this is the second time Lindsay Lohan has played the twins in my memory. Although it has been almost ten years, his acting skills have not improved significantly. In "Kissing Two Hearts" (also translated as "A Pair of Nature"), Lindsay Lohan's shortcomings are only limited to the delicious British accent. One of the major breakthroughs in this film may also be the subject matter, and the performance is bolder. It is estimated that Lindsay is the part after the kiss in the romantic comedy, which is filled in this film: strip dancing, shaky sex scenes, plus missing arms and legs. The role is a brand new attempt, but there is no brand new taste. In fact, today, with the inside story of Lindsay Lohan's various scandals, she can't see any acting skills anymore, she doesn't need to experience the role at all, her life is like a drama. Back then, I was once again obsessed with her "Kissing Two Hearts", and I believe she will get a head start. But she did not expect that she would follow the old path of "the more famous the more depraved". There was Winona Ryder in the front and Sweet Blaney in the back. She was still so confused and heartbroken.
Of course, objectively speaking, dissatisfaction with the film may stem from a resistance to the supernatural. Personally, I don't like the mysterious and mysterious things, and I don't like to explain this kind of mysterious practice.
