The first half of the movie is the story of my life. "I wish I could just be a girl, not the tall girl."
The movie captures the character's psychological movement. Being tall is the root of her low self-esteem. Hiding her spark, wearing the ponytail and the hoodie and the sweatpants. In the movie, Jodi was lucky enough to have so many people caring about her, for her to open up. But in real life, everyone is the main character of the movie and we all have our problems. Usually, there's no milk crate guy to save us from ourselves. We have to slowly come to the realization that our uniqueness is what makes us who we are and be confident about it. That is harder done than said.
Almost every girl wants to be with a guy whose taller, including tall girls. But if someone sees you for you, who would mind if he is standing on a milk crate.
